  jesus has placed the weightiest of responsibilities on the faithful and discreet slave-namely,overseeing the domestics and giving out spiritual food atthe proper time.

  jesus knew that those with greater responsibility have greater accountability.

  Amazing how they take some parables to be literal and others not. I wonder why? Something about money and power? Hmmmm!

  Mr Evans is not a celebrity in my eyes. (I don't do celebrities, it's fake adulation. they're no better than the next person).

  I'm more focused on my family.

  My days of 'activism(tm)' are behind me. If people want to stay in a dangerous cult, that's their business. In a 1000 years time, they'll all be long forgotten like the rest of us.

  i found a company and employed an elder as an underwriter and two ms as sales and marketing.

  anyway, this elder will delegate his work to the ms in sales and marketing, so he can go home early.

  he knew when he got started that this would be a 10 hour a day job with some saturday.

  I have been aware of some shady Jobot employers. No names, no pack drill.

  I did know of one who was a very good employer. Mind you, he pissed off with some bird (Brit slang for female), and got DF'd.

  They simply say it is so. The JWs HAVE TO BELIEVE it or be shunned or treated like a leper.

  The impossible.
  However, if that drunken fool TOMO3 says this is true, then JWs MUST believe while the rest of us roll our eyes and laugh.

  That's okay, mate. Sounds like a dubious reason, if I'm honest with you.

  Sounds a bit trollish. If you don't mind me saying. We get lots of accounts (probably 1 sad wanker, sitting in his Mum's back bedroom, not paying rent at 40 years of age and comes on here after a good one off the wrist on xHamster), here and it gets boring.

  You'll be quietly and subtly coerced into venerating the Governing Body of JWs instead.

  There are lots of cults and religions that don't venerate Saints et al.....and you had to pick the JWs. Good grief, Charlie Brown. You'll be sorry.

  But hey, don't take my word for it. You're free to make your own mistakes.

  Unless you're a troll and wasting our time. I am suspicious.

  it has been interesting for me to learn the various ways that the jws twist the scriptures to fit their own dogma.

  (of course jws aren't alone in that, but that's another topic.

  ) two quick examples of jws not following or going beyond the bible are blood and birthdays.

  Start of the Great Tribulation will be announced soon

  at the 2021 annual meeting, samuel herd revealed new light and claimed the anointed will all have passed away before armageddon.

  it has since been revealed that while they will die before armageddon, there will be some anointed still around that will witness the start of the great tribulation.. so the question is, how many years until the existing members of the governing body have passed away?.

  im not a doctor, but based on their age and various stages of obesity, im thinking 10- 15 years- give or take, sounds about right.. with that in mind, the great tribulation could be announced any day.. the new understanding has now freed the org from the burden of having to identify a particular generation in relation to the date of armageddon.
