i had an abusive dad who left my mom, my two sisters and me when we were fairly young.

I recall getting the new 'publications(tm)' hoping they'd be amazing and 'upbuilding(tm)' ...but usually they were boring sh1t.

a-JW-grill. I'll be perfectly honest, your story was a bit too long for me to read. But, by judging what others have said as I skimmed through, I can only say, all things happen for a reason. Be-it a crap reason or good.
The reality is that in life we get bored with things and people.
You'd never live 'happily ever after' with this person. It just rarely happens.
I for one, will not let another person define me.
The fact that you're not with this geezer isn't a problem. I feel the problem is imagination and romanticism that are diametrically opposed to reality.
Yes, the past haunts me to this day but I won't let it stifle me too much.
various researchers a have been looking for an anti-aging pill based on the assumption that, if you can maintain a higher.
level of various endogenous anti-oxidants ( catalase, sod, etc), you could probably slow down the aging process.
even some skeptics.
I can't imagine our politicians or elites really want us to live longer.
They seem to have a pre-disposition against anything positive.

i was under the impression that it was going to be a short war, that russia’s military would indeed subdue ukraine’s forces quickly but that is not happening.
seems that russia’s military power is much less than it’s reputed to be.

Who knows how the 'current thing' will work out?
We probably won't know because a different 'current thing' will continue to divert our attention elsewhere and away from the criminal escapades of our corrupt politicians.

I judge individuals on their individual merits.
However, collectively I fear that when when America sneezes the UK catches cold.
