  A really great vid. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The creator is able to say what I think but don't have the words for.

  I often thought I was a dimwit because I could never remember anything, or take away any new thoughts or inspiration from the CON-ventions.

  Now, I realise I'm a dinwit for other reasons.

  Vandy - God created the universe and man by Himself without the help of another god.

  Although I am no longer a believer, I thought the WBT$ at one time suggested that Jesus DID help with creation. TBH, I can't be bothered to check sources (sauces), it seems so pointless.

  Off subject a bit. I remember a Sister(tm) wondering if Satan created Wasps. (Not sure if you call them Wasps in the USA).

  They won't even try.

  Sloppy - You would go in circles with a JW with neither side budging.

  If the Governing Body(TM) (Pee be upon them), say the Bible does or doesn't mean something, then the Jobots will obey.

  They don't try to reconcile anything, they are told what to think and anything outside of this is...dare I say....APOSTACYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYy

  My guess is that they'll go into 'nouns' and capital G in God and lower case g for Jesus as a sort of god type person.

  Just a thought. My memory of all things Jobot has faded.

  "The Truth"

  we all know that jws consider the wt religion to be "the truth" and refer to it as such.. granted, that phrase is used repeatedly in the literature and from the platform.. but it's obvious that much of what the organization used to require jws to teach house-to-house as important truths--even within our own lifetimes--has been abandoned.

  it's been replaced by "new light" and "refined understanding.

  what's meant by "the 1914 generation" is a prime example.. in fact, i think it would be hard to find another religion that has changed so many of its teachings, especially in such a short period of time.. so why do jws still believe their religion to be "the truth"?.
