  What's your take on being anointed. What requirements do you have to fulfill?

  my personal opinion is someone that's gonna rule in heaven, has to prove himself on earth before.

  so satan don't have accusations against that person.

  a christian king is a loving one.

  I don't really believe all this stuff. I guess from a JW perspective this:

  The Governing body(tm) (pee be upon them), have now commandeered their whole 'anointed(tm)' label for themselves as CEO's, exclusively.

  This, in my opinion, is because as a Corporation, they cannot allow the rank and file(tm) to get any prestige thru' the Corporation's own interpretation of their own corrupted version of the Bible. The GB(tm) (Pee be upon them), retain all control of their weird interpretation of their own 'Holy Scriptures(tm) (Oddly, not called the Bible).

  These CEO's probably don't believe their own doctrine because they know that they are not a religion. They have now become just a big business fooling people into believing they're a religion to keep the cash rolling in for the CEOs to live like rock stars.

  It's all just a big scam where lives are lost and ruined......and the leaders in the business don't care as long as they're ok.

  a few points i got from it.. new hour requirements.

  The more you look at how they're now swinging the 'anointed(tm)' schtick, is the more you can see how totally corporate and non religious they are becoming.

  The new GB members = businessmen not religious.

  I'd be surprised if any of them actually believe in god.

  Shunning and persecution

  jws see shunning as a loving provision.

  but if a mennonite gal is shunned by her parents and friends for converting to jwism, would this be seen as a loving provision or as evidence of persecution?

  how about parents beating a daughter who converted to jehovah's witnesses?.

We thus have no way of knowing the exact number of anointed ones on earth; nor do we need to know. The Governing Body does not keep a list of all partakers, for it does not maintain a global network of anointed ones.

  NW - The letters read about the 2 sisters who had tears of joy for reducing the pioneer hours.

  It makes me think these were just fictional letters. that's the type of fraud the Watchtower(tm) could pull.

  we appreciate simon's efforts to keep this site active and available.

  i find a number of pimo jw friends enjoy youtube for some reason.

  Beth's Serum - I know Marc and Cora. Not well but we have met and chatted at an EXJW party.

  I don't bother with EXJW parties or get togethers. I think the point for me is to leave it all behind and assimilate and take my place into mainstream society.

  Oddly enough, I met by accident an EXJW in the car park at Morrissons supermarket yesterday, and we discussed the importance of leaving it all behind.

  SITT - You and me both.

  the only thing is, they'd only accept that you got 'anointed(tm)' miraculously if you're in their business clique.

  Otherwise they accuse you of being bonkers. (Which I think those making this claim are....or attention seeking).

  Beth's Serum. Like you say, a lot of it is the same story with a different narrator. I understand that because our stories are all quite similar. It's boring though.

  Now that I've been out for a while, I don't want to hear the same old complaints, as therapeutic as they are for the 'tuber.

  Dodgy Knees. MC5 were a support band for Alice Cooper when we went to see him in Birmingham a few years back. Got there late and missed them. I think it's only 1 bloke left now.

  Instead we had to sit thru' the Stranglers who were boring. Although, a geezer next to me was dancing in his chair to them, spilling his beer on me. We got talking, he wasn't a bad bloke, just 'as a newt'.

  Anyway, the lyrics in the OP remind me of the Monkees theme......

  Beth's Serum - exJW it's just the same thing the last guy said,,repeated over and more focused on their own personal dramas and dilemmas.

  One of the reasons I don't watch anymore.

  I hope it's a release for them.

  I also wonder if some of them are up to the old 'monetised' youtube grift.
