Understandable. Even when I was a zealot, I hated these 2 things.
And we are talking very zealous and active witnesses!
...well, they have to pretend to be 'spiritual(TM)' or the witch hunt begins.

The Watchtower—Study Edition | January 2022
by RULES & REGULATIONS inthe watchtower—study edition | january 2022. during the great tribulation, gog of magog’s forces may try to assault us in our homes.
but we can take comfort in knowing that jesus and his angels are aware of what is happening and will defend us (see paragraph 13).
13. when gog of magog attacks, why will we appear to be vulnerable, but what reason for confidence will we have?

Do any of you ex JW`s ever feel ashamed or embarrassed to admit you were once a JW? To your now friends / associates ?
by smiddy3 ini ask this now because i have been living in this town for the past 14 years and the circle of friends i have now i have never let on i am an ex jw.. i`m talking about 30-50 people at least.. not that the subject has ever really come up , but i think they would be shocked / amazed that i was a ( i hate this word ) a "devout" jw for 32 years going around knocking on peoples doors trying to convert them to the religion .. yet every now and again i get tempted to.. how say you ?.

I found it interesting how the people I knew when I was a Jobo, actually told me they thought the Jobos were a stupid cult after I left. However, they didn't want to say that when I was a Jobo.
How darned polite of them.

I can't say about things in America because I'm a British Brit in the UK. I visit Canada but not too bothered about visiting America.
liberals are lying
Yes. They do all the time whichever country you're in.
They tend to be all 'hashtag be kind' but are the most ruthless violent virtue signalling liars ever.
The Left and far Right are both very much the same except the left pretends to do it for your good.

After I left the WBT$ slaveholdery, I went to the Baptist Church because I still believed in God. I did work for the local Soup kitchen and felt I was helping the local community.
A Jobo told me that, 'those people don't need a soup kitchen, they need the Watchtower!'
Oh how I felt sick to my guts at that remark.
Anyway, that's the difference between the Watchtower cult and Christendom in the UK.

If the Almighty, Powerful, benevolent God had a book written for humans, what would it contain?
by pistolpete ini know for a fact it would not start off with a talking snake, magical fruit, invisible beings that desire beautiful women to have sex with.. and it wouldn’t end with a flying dragon, a two horned lamb, locusts that resembled horses with men’s faces, but with women’s hair and teeth of lions.
and the book wouldn’t allow for hundreds of millions of religions to spurt from it.
i think the first thing a book written by god would have, is that it would be written in a way that all languages could understand without being translated.. regardless of what language you would speak, we could read it and understand what it said.

God`s Creation ,if He/She had a hand in it at all ,then why ?
by smiddy3 inevery living life form on this planet survives by killing ,eating every other living life form that exists on this planet.. one life form preys on another life form for it`s survival from the most primitive to the most highest complexity.. and i mean "every" living life form from the lowest to the highest that exists in the world.. this is just the natural order of things that has been going on since man has observed his surroundings.. their is no room for a god of love in the real world.
no wonder "they" came up with the phrase "survival of the fittest ".
"every living life form on this planet survives by killing ,eating every other living life form that exists on this planet".. this cannot be denied ,it`s a universal truth.

I feel that this planet is quite hostile to life.
That's why I wear clothes to keep warm (not so that people can't see my ding dong).
I have heating in the home so that I don't die of hypothermia.
The sun wants to give us cancer.
Some animals will eat your goolies if they catch you.
I feel this Earth is not exactly conducive to life.
I expect the Jobos will tell us it's because of 'imperfection(tm)' caused by talking snakes and eating apples. Dimwits!
