Thanks cameo-d for adding the video, I still don't know how to do that! Many witnesses think that such a bro should have lost some privileges by giving such a talk! Its in the comments for it at YouTube. Still none of the content of he video is against WT doctrine.

Don't know how to leave: FADE or DA letter?
by porfiada inhi folks.
i wondered if any of you ex elders can help me to figure out what my status is and therefore how to log out from the borg.
i was baptized at 15, faded at 18. never heard anything from the elders after their first visit, which wasn't about a big deal and had no conclusion.

@ Maksym
Thanks for signing up especially for giving me feedback. And welcome! I totally agree with you hey these men (the WTS) have no business putting people in pigeon holes , which stigmatize them into categories such as DF, DA, inactive, etc. So I am following your advice, won't give them the pleasure of putting me into one and will just remain disappeared. When I asked FADE or DA i guess I meant disappear or DA, as or course i won't go to the trouble of fading when I have no family in the borg any more to keep in good terms with. So thanks again. And al the best with your Christian live!

What the watchtower paradise will be like when it begins:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwA9KX5WJTM
"This is a portion of a very encouraging talk given by Watchtower representative Ciro Aulicino."A matching video has been made for it.
Just shows how nuts it would be!!! And horrid.

There is little backing for the idea of a paradise on earth anyway, probably a world of peace etc can be found in Heaven, where we don't have the natural laws of earth. After all we have been duped about the "great crowd"; it will be heaven not earth, like C.T. Russel originally taught and ordinary Christendom believes. For any doubts check questionable doctrines in jwfacts.com, just to give you an example.Remembe, the wod paradise figures only once in the bible, when jesus said "I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise" which the WT changed by adding a comma in the wrong place (greek has no commas) I tell you today, you will be with me in paradise. We all know that too. That and the great crowd are well explained in http://www.sixscreensofthewatchtower.com/1paradiseearth.html.

As a "disappeared" (didn't bother fading) JW young adult I could not imagine why would my mother want to live in a paradise where (according to JW beliefs) NONE of her then adult five children would be. The only child she was expecting to be re-united with was my three month old baby sister that passed away just a couple of months before I was conceived. That was her main attraction to the WTS doctrine, that she would have her baby resurrected. yet, in this life, she did not have much time for her last three children (me specially shunned me as I was once a baptized JW at the innocent age of 15) and had lost the custody of the first two for trying to kidnap them (before being a JW).
Not only that but she would have to live in paradise forever with her extra dominant self-righteous machist JW husband, who wouldn't get outta bed until she brings breakfast to him, and wouldn't let her go anywhere unless she was going witnessing (that is the main reason why she pioneered in her last year of health, she told me so).
What about the lack of fun rock n roll music? .....imagine living with kingdom melodies instead of your favorite music bands...
What about the people who are resurrected? The WTS says they won't be able to marry, as they will be like angels. So even if you are resurrected, you don't have a second chance at love. I could do with a clean start on that front, with or without dying first.
What about the JWs that remained single to do more witnessing? Once the paradise is here they will go mad trying to couple up. What if you are not as pretty as the others? Will you miss out? Will you get jealous? What if you have a crush on some sisters' boyfriend? Will you just be able to switch off your libido and for get it? People will have to look as they used to, or their family won't be able to recognize them. So we can't all have the same looks, and only some will have the "good looks" so how can there be an equal society?
Diversity in the environment and within our species plus the fight for life are the main forces that rule our existence now. We have to adapt to the environment and compete for resources and mates if we want to live and have a legacy. It is natural selection wether you like it or not. Just like with all the other species on earth. And don't know how oif lifeon earth going to work without it. I am doubtful that paradise can be a reality.

Hi
I am reading your posts-good ideas! I realise that if i started writing a letter I would end up making a huge one, mainly because I am just so angry at what the religion did my my relationship with my mother-who shunned me for my entire adult life until she needed me to take care of her terminal illness (nice). The religion also broke up my parent's marriage, because she thought she would be so much happier if she married a JW. She managed to leave my dad and marry a JW without any consequence from the borg.
This how she did it: just leave your hubby saying that you are going to take care of your mum (who had leukemia) overseas, after a month call your kids (I was 20 then and the eldest) and tell them you are not coming back. Tell your hubby he can keep is real estate cause you are about to get an inheritance from your dying mum. Your hubby figures out you are gone for good so after a few months he finds a girlfriend. After about 6 months RETURN to the country and accuse your husband of adultery. Get otherJ Ws to try to spy on him and go tell all about it to the good old elders. They will say you can divorce. Marry the first JW that looks at you with some interest. Have a miserable married life with him (as he exploits his authority and only lets you go out if you are witnessing) and together shun your three children. She thought she had made a good move but later admitted she would have preferred to stay married to my dad....miserable! Then she blamed ME for the REST OF MY LIFE for not being able to get back to my dad because I had made it clear to him that she was gone when she was overseas, so its my fault that he got a girlfriend.
About the blood directive: I still have it in mint condition as I never filled it!! I had kept it since Feb last year and every time I looked at it to start filling it, it was SO confusing that I keep on tossing it for later. It is so silly that they say you can see your GP to get informed so you can put ticks in the boxes that you have are approved by Jehovah. But what if you tick the wrong boxes? You know that WTS won't sanction you over the fractions, but you cannot jsut green light them without feeling a pain in your conscience. So what ever you do you feel guilty and carry that load on your own, dreading the day you will have to give your account to JHWH personally. You can't win. So I hadn't filled it yet or talked to my doctor, Phew!!
When you have kids you would have to be darned sure before you fill in one of those! Its pretty selfish to want to die to look good for God and live on paradise and leave your kids to fend for themselves.
So as you can imagine I would get pretty worn -out with a letter , because I have SO much to say, that I had better leave that idea for now, or it will consume me.
@Black sheep: yep I have the 2009 Watchtower Index thanks, i will look into it though i have read about the miscalculation of sites like JWfacts or the SixScreens so I am on track. Isn't it funny that if they thought that Jesus had chosen the WTS in 1918, when they had no ban on blood, had Xmas, and used the cross, and believed that the great crowd was in heaven, why can't these practices/doctrines acceptable now, if they "were to Jesus" then?? It just gets me.

Hi Mouthy, Yan and Bohm, thanks for welcoming me. I have been spying on this site for about a month. When I first ran in to it I was so brainwashed that i was immediately disgusted! Then we ran in to the blood policy AGAN and had to do my research, cause Im' not risking my or my sons's lives for any printed info ...good thing, cause finally I am free. The blood topic really gets on my nerves, because during my years of inactivity (well I really haven't been active since I was 18, when I plain dropped out) I once required 4 transfusions in one go to save my life. My mum, the loving JW , said that it would have been better if I had died. Bet she was going to care for my one-week old baby!! (see i was also a solo mum so double sinner by her standards. I wonder if she thought that if I died for NOT accepting a blood transfusion, I was automatically forgiven for the fornication??? Don't think so ).
Krista please flip out before your family turns into a freak-show like my mum made us be, even after we left the borg. The show went on until her death (she avoide speaking on the phone with me for most of the last three years of her life). I still loved her though, so outta notalgia for her I almost got sucked in later!! It is catchy and unless someone braves up to look for the" Apostate" websites or do their own research. your lot will remain trapped or divided.

You left me intrigued about the kings of neobabylon empire. Is it just something to pest them with or it is to make a point about some teachings of the WTS? Please let me know what do have in mind....

I told my daughter I was leaving "the truth" this weekend.
by whathappened inlast week, i told you i was going to tell my daughter that i was leaving the truth this weekend and you all gave me sound advice.
but, i cannot keep a secret this heavy from the person i love most on this earth, my only daughter, who is beautiful inside and out.. well, i have always had an open and honest relationship with my daughter, and i guess it paid off.
this weekend i visited my daughter (who lives in another state) and i told her i was leaving "the truth.

I think you did a great job with the binder....and that your daughter's reaction was the best you could hope for, given how shocking it can be for a blind sheep to find out that their religion is a farse. I just hope that it won't end up in a huge family disruption for her, if for example she follows you but her husband wants to stay. I hope that slowly you can get them both out...just msut need to play dead a little so they see its not like you are driven by Satan!
Well done, have a hug.
