another person said she hears from her clients in her business that the constant drama and push back from all sides against trump is fatiguing.. i remind people that before this worldwide pandemic, we had the best numbers in jobs.

Sadly... hospitals ARE overflowing now in the US.
Where our son works, 30% of nursing and support staff have been laid off and management is forcing a mandatory 10% cut on physicians under long term contract. NO overflowing conditions. Two COVID patients. At no time have there been more than 16 patients total. Two deaths (elderly from nursing homes).

by cofty inall my jw life i was reminded constantly about the importance of not bringing reproach on jehovah's name.
decisions on whether or not to disfellowship an individual often turned, not on the seriousness of the sin, but on whether the incident was public knowledge and had resulted in bad publicity for the congregation.
i recall a middle-aged lady being reported to the elders for shoplifting a sweet worth less than £1- and the elders' insistence that a judicial committee must be formed because the store manager and staff knew that she was a jw (i successfully argued that all she needed was support for her dreadful family life, but that's another story).

Is Anyone Happy That Police Forces Are Being Abolished or scut??
by minimus inin minneapolis, the city council has voted to abolish the police.. many cities want to either disband or defund the police.
black lives matter and other groups have influenced citizens and neighborhoods to get rid of police and their authority.
is anyone really supportive of removing the police or cutting out law enforcement through the budget?

There definitely needs to be police reform. Law enforcement has no accountability to anyone except to others in law enforcement (who we see clearly "covers up" for one another). Police Unions need to be banned. Citizens boards need to review complaints. The alternative is that cities that allow the system to continue will face lawsuit after lawsuit and lose MILLION$ in awards as the average citizen juror will no longer give a benefit of the doubt to cops.

I like Trump. Not who he is but what he is -- the Nemesis of the Political Swamp (BOTH Parties). All the democrats hate him. Most of the GOP hate him too, although many grab hot of his coattails if they think he will advance them.
Is he a liar? Yes, but "exaggerator" is more accurate.
Has he made some mistakes. Sure.
Would Hillary have been a better choice? HELL NO! (She's a crook in her own league WAY ABOVE Trump!)
Is Biden a better choice? Can you actually believe that Biden is the best that the Democrats really have to offer? If you think so, then that's pathetically sad! Be assured, IF elected, Biden WILL NOT serve his term. He will die (suicide by 2 shots to the back of the head) or the 25th Amendment will be involved against him. Clearly, he is NOT mentally competent enough to serve. DO NOT let this man have the "football" with the codes.
IMO, we must give Trump 4 more years to continue what he wants to accomplish. After that, I'm worried about who will come swimming up out of the Swamp.

It will not be a choice between Trump or Biden. The choice will be between Trump and Bidens VP candidate—supposedly a black female candidate — as it seems pretty clear that Biden is not mentally fit for the office. Thus the need to keep him hidden in his basement to prevent that from becoming so obvious.
Or, perhaps Biden will step aside at the last minute before the nomination for personal reasons and the convention will anoint a last minute Savior. Hillary? Cuomo?
