The Re-Opening of the Kingdom Halls

it's been six months since the kingdom halls have been closed.

i believe here in ontario, canada that you are now allowed to have up to 50 people congregate together.. that was the average attendance before they did all the merging of the congregations.

they should have went back to the original pre-merger congregations.

Could the WTS sell off all kingdom Halls and become a full time Zoom religion complete with back room counseling and Disflellowshipping ?

This has been mentioned repeatedly, yet I find it difficult to think they could end all F2F association and go strictly to ZOOM. After all, the religion is primarily a "social club" for the R&F JW's. However, it occurred to me that they have complained that Assembly Halls are under-utilized. Would it be possible to sell of 50% of the KHalls and increase the number of "assemblies" -- perhaps 6 per year thereby allowing more Congs to share the physical KHalls.

He's taken on The Swamp so that all the Dems hate him and even a bunch of the GOP hate him (unless they think they can get re-elected on his coat tails).

He's taking on Big Pharma.

Now, he's taking on the Military Establishment.

I'm not sure he picked his battles carefully.

A few years ago we attended the 60th anniversary party of a JW couple who were very good friends of my family. When they married, he was 25 and she was 15. My wife was SHOCKED. She told him that today he'd be arrested. (Yes they really were from Arkansas but I'm pretty sure they were not cousins.)

In my country the preaching work is over

the jws in my country can't preach to anyone these days and they're going crazy.

i live in romania and initially during the covid-19 lockdown they were very enthusiastic about preaching.

they've since held daily "field service meetings" on zoom.

I just hope the American people vote in a President that isn't constantly in the news for saying or doing something stupid, unscrupulous and socially immoral.

I agree. The "stupid" stuff is the result of Biden's dementia and you can't blame a person for what happens with aging. It's sad, but clearly he will never carry the responsibility of the President.

As far as "unscrupulous and socially immoral" -- I think the corrupt profiteering like Hunter Biden's deals with Ukraine and China are the typical MO of politics anymore. No different than the Clinton Foundation receiving MILLION$ in "contributions" when it was perceived that Hillary would be President. When she lost, it all dried up. It was clearly a quid pro quo arrangement to all the contributors.

The American people just put up with it because it's what they have come to expect.
