Most college graduates will tell you that a diploma isn't all it's cracked up to be.
Unless the degree gets the graduate into a specific career (medicine, law, education, pharmacy, etc) they often find out it's just a piece of paper that came with a huge payment book to repay their school loans and sadly doesn't necessarily get them into a job/career? that pays any better than a plumber/carpenter/electrician who had the benefit of being paid to learn as an apprentice tradesman.
