  it's not a secret that during the last two years watchtower obtained nearly 40 dmca subpoenas requiring google, facebook, instagram, twitter, soundcloud, scribd, reddit and other isps to provide personal information of users that allegedly infringed the society's copyright.. since subpoena proceeding is ex parte, almost all the requests were granted.. but one of the affected users contacted, on advice of youtube's legal team, the electronic frontier foundation (eff), and the foundation found a law firm ready to represent him pro bono, namely garvey schubert barer:.

  youtube's legal department emailed the user on or about july 10, 2018, five days before the subpoena's return date, stating that it would comply with the subpoena unless it received a file-stamped motion to quash "or other type of formal objection before july 20, 2018.

  What a huge kick in the balls to WT. They lost what must be a very expensive legal case to a freaking Lego Man!

  I would take a guess that it could be some kind of aneurysm, particularly an aortic aneurysm repair or resection required LOTS of blood to keep the patient alive. They usually will bleed out unless it happens while they are already in the hospital.

  The act of shunning is so high school. What really does it prove!

  I believe in past years it was a discipline that was supposed to "awaken" or shock the "sinner" into changing their path and "repent".

  More recently, I believe it is a tool of their "information control". I suspect if apostasy and doubt have not overtaken immorality as the #1 reason to be DF'd then it is damn close. Plus many who are DF'd for breaking the JW moral code will seek out "association" and stumble across apostate websites (like this one) where they usually soon learn TTATT. WT cannot have the R&F who are too lazy or too dumb or too apathetic to question and reason on things to get into discussions with those who have already done so.

  I think they may have actually admitted that in the old "Blood Brochure" as it made the point that the refusal of blood is NOT for health reasons but religious/moral reasons. Thus, even if it may save your life temporarily, it could cost you your everlasting life.

  At one time jw's used to be able to have actual discussions with people, sadly they know so little about jw doctrine, the Bible and history they don't know what to believe until their Lords in NY tell them what to believe. ~ Carla

  In years past, JW's may not have really studied the Bible, but at least they studied their doctrine in their literature and could make a good effort to defend it.

  JW's today do know know JW doctrine. How could they possibly defend it (even if it was defensible).

  I think every WalMart is 24/7, with self-checkout I don’t even think they have employees working at night, maybe 1 cashier?

  Just ring everything in as Bananas @ 49¢ /lb. If they complain, tell them you had very poor training on the equipment.
