Watchtower hires off-duty law enforcement
by Diogenesister inan indignant law enforcement officer wrote kim & mikey to let them know watchtower had placed an advertisement on a facebook page dedicated to law enforcement staff only, looking to hire a fully uniformed and armed officer at $35 per hour.
the commission was for the memorial in a specified texan venue.. the officer was particularly miffed at the hypocrisy considering the terrible way law enforcement was portrayed in the 2018 convention video, where the jws had been herded into a field to be slaughtered by a large group of officers.

When JW.org drops 607BCE...
by Nathan Natas inprobably everyone else thought of this long ago, but i, being an "independent thunker" thunk of it just a coupla weeks ago.. we all know that since the year zero (on the fredfranzian calendar) the wtb&ts has defied archaeology and insisted that jerusalem was destroyed in 607 bce, even though the physical evidence shows that 587 bce is a more likely date.
in fact, the book "the gentile times reconsidered: have jehovah's witnesses been wrong all along about 607 bce?
" by carl olof jonsson and rud persson made this conversation public.. it is a difference of 20 years.

When was the last time you saw all that 2520 years mumbo jumbo in print?
As already stated in a recent thread on this forum, it is specifically covered in ’Lesson 32’ of their current ‘Bible study’ textbook.
I had to read this a couple times to realize how great I should feel about this reply to my question. I don't know how long this "Bible study textbook" has been in print (or should I say, has been available), but it made me realize that I NO LONGER AM KEEPING UP WITH THE JW DOCTRINE BULLSH|T. I can't even tell you the name of that textbook!
I suspect it is in Lesson 32 (vs Lesson 2) because it gives them time to get their hooks into the new victim before they pull out this ridiculous "doctrine".

I’m wondering whether to just come out with it or to just fade.
If you just come out and tell them what your thinking and that you have doubts, that may totally screw up your "fade". I assume that since you have managed to get reinstated, you do not want to do anything to jeopardize that so that you can maintain a relationship with JW family. It is especially dangerous to express doubts about the GB. "Don't you believe that the GB are the arrangement Jehovah is using to direct His Organization?" Answer that wrong and you're outta there again!
Probably best if you continue to play the "MOM IS SICK" card and tell them your schedule is SO BUSY at the moment that you are SO STRESSED OUT. Thank them for their love and concern and promise you'll see them real soon -- just as soon as you are able to get back in person.
