  7 during the thousand year rule of christ, all of jehovah’s earthly children will have to make changes to please him.

  so all of them will have true fellow feeling as they help the resurrected ones to combat sinful tendencies and to live by jehovah’s standards.

  Agree that this is a slip up on the part of the New Boy in the Writing Dept.

  This GB only bring out the New Light when they are "forced" to make a change because the "Old Light" has burnt out, ie, the OverLapping Generations -- the old "this generation will not pass away" had burnt out. That generation was dead. They HAD passed away.

  Wednesday afternoon GB Meeting: "Oh shit, Sherlock! We better conjure up some new razzle dazzle spin on this!"

  TA DA! OVERLAPPING GENERATIONS! It was so obvious! How did we miss it before?

  I know of a brother who refused re-appointment as an elder. Said he did not want the stress of the responsibility. Accepted to remain a MS.

  deaths: 359,791. recovered: 2,399,247. active cases 3,044,378. we need to throw out the active cases in our calculations, as we don’t know if those people will survive or die.

  deaths + recovered is 2,759,038. deaths/deaths + recovered = death rate.. 359,791/2,759,038 = 13%.

  Think of the millions of cases of corona that are not and never will be included in the active cases or recovered.

  Think of all the cases being coded as corona related deaths that really are not. Medicare is paying an additional $17,000 if a patient has CV-19 and that more than doubles if it results in a death.There is a financial incentive to label everything as CV-19. (Not that hospitals would EVER do that to get more revenue!)

  So, how many who were hospitalized or who died WITH CV-19 were labeled as having been admitted or having died FROM CV-19?

  Very few “ normal intelligent “ people join the religion. Those that did were pretty reasonable people and they didn’t believe everything Mother taught them.

  In our area a very successful Medical Doctor joined the religion. Several year prior he left his wife & children to marry a DFd JW employee. Now that slutty DFd JW woman was married and not "sleeping around" she was reinstated; got him to "study"; and he was reeled in.

  I have yet to come to understand how someone intelligent enough to have a medical degree, can believe all the Genesis bullshit that JW's believe is all literal! Does such a person just close their eyes to the BS and do what it takes to make the young wife happy?

  the latest watchtower of august 2020 discusses on page 15, "how will the resurrection likely take place?".

  since learning real truths as opposed to the org's version of truth, has your view of the resurrection changed significantly?

  just one example - regardless of psalm 37:9,11,29: matthew 5:5 & revelation 21:3,4, do you now believe that our destination is heaven rather than earth?.

  "Faith is the assured expectation........."

  I have found nothing that assures me there will be any kind of resurrection of those who die. I wish there was, but I haven't seen it. Everyone I know that has died, appears to still be dead.

  jws are going to have to wait another decade or two and see how things develop before they get excited about armageddon coming in their lifetime.
