  Interesting That in the Regional Convention They Are Asking for More Volunteers to Bethel

  for those of us who could sit through the program so far, i did find it interesting that they are again asking for people to apply to bethel.. i happened to speak to a friend who called and asked him why they would do that.

  his response was that, well, they need younger people there.. i guess once you are over 50 or something you are eligible to be sent out to pasture..

  Prophesy from a JW (and others perspective). What purpose is there in trying to interpretate some of the stuff that you don't understand??

  this is not a jw-bashing thing, but it always seemed odd to me that the "excuse" when things go wrong is that "we have to wait and see how the prophesy is fulfilled" or some other wording.. my question has always been, then what is the purpose of the prophesy if you don't understand it until after the fact?

  isn't that like having a weather forecast but being told that we don't really know what the weather will be until the next day?.

  i'm sure some of the intelligent people here can guide me but in all honesty, i never understood that..

  I've heard it explained that we really only understand a prophecy AFTER it's fulfillment. WTF?

  What happened to that thing about God doing nothing without "giving advance notice to His servants, the prophets"?

  Yet, "His Servants, the prophets" (aka GB?) don't seem to know Jack Schmitt about any of the prophesies and they especially don't seem to know WHY NONE OF THEM HAVE BEEN FULFILLED as was promised by their predecessors (ie, Freddie, The Judge, etc).

  2 Peter 3:4-- "They will say, 'Where is this 'coming' he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.' "

  Aren't there a lot of JW's whispering that very question?

  The Bible says Trump will win. Daniel 2 says the feet is iron mixed with clay. The Iron is Trump, his administration and his supporters and the clay are the Democrats and those against Trump. It must continue for 4 more years to continue the prophesy unless the end comes on 11/3.

  Some people like the approach of Easy Listening music (Biden), giving a massage and offering you warm face towels.

  sir82, if you are correct, then the JW's might well be right -- "The End is near!" I was never a "Trumper", although I was an ABC (Anybody But Clinton) voter. But I cannot see why anyone would dare want to risk going back to the Obama/Biden economy. And I seriously doubt that things would be that good with the things that Biden (or his puppet masters) are now proposing.
  

  And when "American sneezes, the World catches a cold." Thus, it would be a shit storm for the World economy, too.

  sir82, how can you really support a candidate who literally has trouble putting two or three sentences together to convey anything meaningful? He can't even keep his place using a teleprompter. Additionally, not only is the man dealing with failing cognitive ability, but clearly, the "Huntergate" scandal proves the man is corrupt. He's been creepy with women (even little girls). I'm assuming it must be "a lesser of two evils" decision, and you see Trump as "really" evil. Inquiring minds want to know --

  Even though I can only understand the English subtitles, tho persons interviewed appeared to be extremely fluent and articulate, as well as dressed appropriately for making a statement to the media. I hope this gets broad coverage there and would love to see similar interviews here.

  (Of course, we in the US are too caught up in BLM riots -- I mean peaceful protests.)

  Our extended JW families sympathize with happened to our family. They realize the Eldubs handled things grossly wrong. Of course, they say Joe Hoover ultimately will settle it all and make all things right. We tell them that we are confident of that also, but if "these kind of things" are going on Borganizationally, there are some real issues that need addressed. Clearly Holy Spirit is not at the wheel or the Chariot. So we are "waiting on Joe Hoover" to make it right. But quite frankly, we are NOT going to "wait in the Kingdumb Hall". Better things to do.

  Thus, if you have a reasonable excuse to "be stumbled", it may be the best solution to start your "fade".
