It sounds like the used the "old" funeral outline at your friends funeral. Recent JW funerals that I've attended have had more of an eulogy of the deceased. I think the WT has read of all the complaints about their former infomercial and have changed things up a little.

Do You Support Trump Being Impeached Again?
by minimus init looks like it can happen again and i suspect if it does happen, the senate will not convict either because they can’t convict him since it’s after his presidency or simply because they don’t have sufficient votes..

Bullshit politics.
Every American should be pissed off by the "do nothing" Congress.

Hysteria & Final Thoughts
by Sea Breeze inevery republican president ever elected starting with reagan generated hysteria in the news media.
they belittled, cajoled, ridiculed, mocked and resisted the highest elected leader in the land in an attempt to overturn the will of the people.
reagan.

Vander, you're even more optimistic (delusional?) than I.
I've conceded that the Deep State has won.

Prediction: What Will Happen To Trump Now That Biden Will Be President?
by minimus ini think he will have to deal with the attorney general of new york amongst other things.
i do think he will not simply go away quietly ..

Ah but the true scientific polls show trumps approval ratings falling.
Among the many Trump supporters that I know, none have changed their opinion of him.

Everyone is swallowing the media propaganda 100% and it's depressing to realize what an easily manipulated populace we now have.
But "normal service" has now been resumed. Expect to be invading some country soon on false pretenses.
Easily manipulated populace -- that, my friends, should tell you that WT will be here for a long time to come. People who are gullible enough to believe what MSM is telling them now, are prime candidates for WT recruitment.

First of all, JW's just believe that Joe Hoover is gonna waive his magic wand and "POOF" everything is going to be Paradise. Turn rocks into bread and water into wine.
I really sometimes wonder if the GB isn't intentionally trying to wake people up without coming right out and saying "we were wrong". ~ mynameislame
I suspect the GB would have no problem if all the "fringe" JW's took off. You know, the JW's that just take up space. They don't contribute anything. No productive recruiting. No donations. And what they do do (dodo?), is perhaps ask embarrassing questions that raise doubts and cause general discouragement and apathy.

Are Jehovah Witness willing to end studies?
by Maria Nieves inhttps://www.jw.org/en/library/magazines/watchtower-study-october-2020/how-to-conduct-a-bible-study-that-leads-to-baptism-part-two/.
i recently came across the above watchtower article which spoke about conducting bible studies which lead to baptism.
it progressed to say that if the bible study instructor does not see growth within the student or the desire to work towards baptism, then the studies should end.

But most JW's (esp pioneers) aren't apt to want to lose those "easy" hours they count with a BS. As long as the BS is not your own child, there is no limit to the hours you can log with these people. "Studies" that go on for 2 hours. Phone call RV's to "encourage". Picking them up for a meeting (when they used to exist), etc.
When you end that study, you have to go back to
knocking on doorsdriving around in the territory. -

I have a deep seated hatred for the leadership of the JW Cult

Some of the comments above brought to my mind of a JW family we know. Dad an engineer who always had high paying career. Kids all "star pioneered". Home schooled. No education. Sons worked at Bethel for a few years. No marketable skills. Dad, now in his 70s, is still assisting some of them. What happens to them when he dies? I don't think there is enough in the estate to support them indefinitely. Of course, maybe there are enough assets to last up until "The New World"(™) is here?
And this is what I see repeated a lot now with the born-in JW's. Live at home with Mom & Dad's support and pioneer. That makes the elder dad look good to the CO. The kids have a cushy life. But they are too short sighted (based on false promises) to see that it's all going to collapse on them.

I left in my 20’s and was able to recover, go to College, have a career, plan a retirement. ~ Just Fine
Gotta say I'm jealous or envious of people like you who woke up soon enough that they still had most of their life ahead of them. And I'm very happy to read of quite a few experience here of those who are still only in their 20s or 30s who have left the Cult or looking for assistance on how to do that.
I was over 50, though I admit I to doubts long before fully awakening and fading which is why I guess I was still fairly intent on accumulating some assets although nothing like if I'd have take advantage of all "the world" has to offer. I missed out on college (it was that May 22, 1969 Awake! ragazine) so I was determined that my kids would not miss college (If Armageddon didn't come by that time -- and it did not) and they would be able to pursue a career vs. a job that just provided "sustenance and covering". All are doing good. I think they all woke up to the Cult long before I fully did.
The greatest revenge is living a happy & successful life!

I've experienced those same feelings of anger. Fortunately, I think I am past most of it. I also was angry at myself for being so gullible for so long. WHY WHY WHY was the 1975 debacle not enough to convince me (all of us?) that this was all man-made delusional bullshit?
