No rational reasoning with cult elders
by UnshackleTheChains inhttps://youtu.be/elm5y8t3pjs.
this is why i can't in good conscience go back to the organisation.
you are pressured to bring others into the cult and then for them to wake up and find they are caught in a web of rules and policies such as shunning.

The real question is "If you are a professed Christian will you obey Jesus and show love or obey Paul and shun?"
Shunning is an act of love. Love of God and his principles. Love of "neighbor" as you are trying to readjust their thinking and save their everlasting life.
Ya can't make this shit up!

So many are waking up. Pandemic gave jws time to think.
by pistolpete inthis is not about stats, but "actual experiences" happening world wide in the organization.
there is about 156 comments of what some jws are seeing in their congregation.
feel free to read and come to your own conclusion on whether the watchtower organization is turning pimo but no one says anything in order to keep family relations.

Almost two years without Kingdom hall meetings, conventions, and field service.
It gives JWs some time to reflect.
I also think that the isolation/lockdowns have given people a lot of time on their hands and much of it has been spent sitting at a computer. When they tire of Netflix and look for something interesting on Google it's easy to have some "anti-JW" pop up with all the JW things of interest they might be searching for.
It only takes one domino.

Do Jehovah's Witnesses shun non-believers and those who leave the faith?
by Vanderhoven7 ingraeme hammond writes:.
in his 2002 book that examined the behaviour and practices of jehovah’s witnesses, english sociologist andrew holden devoted an entire chapter to the trauma and friction experienced by those who choose to leave the jehovah’s witness religion.
“those who do eventually break free,” he concluded, “are seldom allowed a dignified exit.”.

Bumbling fools who cannot even lie well, or merely "unlettered men"?
What happened to: ---------- Deut 18;18 ~ I will raise up for them from the midst of their brothers a prophet like you, and I will put my words in his mouth, and he will speak to them all that I command him.[NWT]
It surely does not appear that Joe Hoover is putting any kind of articulate words in their mouths.

God of WT - a kindly killer?
by Smiles inthis wt doctrine includes the wrathful mass execution of individual children, babies and disabled belonging to the billions of non-jws... extremist?
"during the war of armageddon, jehovah will execute people, not in a cold, clinical manner, but in a “great rage.” (read ezekiel 38:18.
) he will direct the explosive force of his anger, not against one army or one nation, but against countless individuals living across the globe.

You are all forgetting that no person (offspring of Adam and Eve) deserves to live. Any life you/we have is only due to Joe Hoover's undeserved kindness. So if you are not willing to conform your life and to live by his "righteous principles", then he is justified in snuffing you out.
It's kinda like the principleof the 800-pound gorilla.

Love one another intensely...avoid partiality
by RULES & REGULATIONS inthe watchtower—study edition | march 2020. study article 13. love one another intensely.
if we have intense “love for the whole association of brothers,” we will avoid being partial.
7 jesus urged us to keep treating others the way we want to be treated.

Every Cong has those people (like the old guy in the photo) or families that fall through the cracks. Seems like they ended up in our car group on many Saturday mornings as everyone else had "prior plans" or were "working as a family" (which I think translates to just going home).

That most of the intelligent JW’s are now ex-JW’s and getting together here vs at the Kingdumb Hall.
