  A two-word response to this elder comes to mind: Prove it! How can that elder prove the Governing Body are trusted by Jehovah and Jesus.

  Do ya recall when JW's winning of Court Cases (49 of 50) following WWII was "evidence" of Joe Hoover's blessing? So what does it now mean when the JW/GB are getting their asses handed to them repeatedly in all the CSA lawsuits? It's costing them (I mean, their contributors) MILLION$ and MILLION$!

  Should they not be prostrating themselves in ashes and sackcloth beseeching why it is Joe Hoover has abandoned them?

  Where I think Government can get involved is when the Cult demands the shunning of family members. This results in breaking up family networks and has a detrimental effect on Society. A family network is a positive for our society. When Cults wreck this family arrangement often the outcast members become a burden on Society.

  a young, progressive, kind elder wants to have a chat with me on sunday after the meeting.

  we've talked before and been quite open about the judgemental attitudes 'we' have as witnesses, and he was completely in agreement, stating that he's never understood the beard thing among other issues, and wants to see the society moving forward by change..

  i've no doubt he just wants to encourage me to up my hours or reach out again, but it's nerve wracking, as i know i'll say something i'll regret.

  Four years later Mrs Blithering woke up, and she and the captain sailed away into the sunset, undf'd and with family intact. The nice investigating elder is also out, with his family, having realized it's a crock too.

  the governing body's response to the above complaint has been extended by stipulation until february 11, 2022. it had been due today.

  this should be an important case as it alleges csa at bethel with governing body members' knowing about it.

  it's not a secret that during the last two years watchtower obtained nearly 40 dmca subpoenas requiring google, facebook, instagram, twitter, soundcloud, scribd, reddit and other isps to provide personal information of users that allegedly infringed the society's copyright.. since subpoena proceeding is ex parte, almost all the requests were granted.. but one of the affected users contacted, on advice of youtube's legal team, the electronic frontier foundation (eff), and the foundation found a law firm ready to represent him pro bono, namely garvey schubert barer:.

  youtube's legal department emailed the user on or about july 10, 2018, five days before the subpoena's return date, stating that it would comply with the subpoena unless it received a file-stamped motion to quash "or other type of formal objection before july 20, 2018.

  Did my best to stumble through 20 pages of legalese there and I'll be damned -- it looks like the Court got the decision right! Congrats Kevin!

  What a huge kick in the balls to WT. They lost what must be a very expensive legal case to a freaking Lego Man!

  I would take a guess that it could be some kind of aneurysm, particularly an aortic aneurysm repair or resection required LOTS of blood to keep the patient alive. They usually will bleed out unless it happens while they are already in the hospital.
