I think you will find that there are legal reasons why they go to certain places. Well there is here. I did the cart once & had a ball, only cause I talk to every-one wether they take the mags or no, I cant help myself I love people. If I sit down within moments some-one will be telling me about their piles or other personal things I love to listen I don't care who they are religion/country/gender people are people. The only thing that ruined the day was the old bag I had to go with, seriously this little old dear walked past & the sister turned to me & said " I feel really sorry for that woman" so I asked why, thinking she must have known her & something bad had happened, like some-one had died. NO she said "she`s wearing shorts with legs like that" I felt like smacking her round her face & I let her know I wasn't happy. Bitch. Other than that it was o.k. sorry guys. don't beat me.

Jehovah said he will start the cleaning from his own house
by Tempest in a Teacup inthis very popular quote came back to my mind today when i was thinking about what jws in the third world country where i live would do if they should hear about the australian abuse story.
this has been the one explains-it-all, excuses-it-all phrase to respond to nasty things going on in "god's house".. if they should hear about the story, they would just nod, say that phrase and add the sentence that traditionally accompanies it: it is because he is well aware that there are rotten elements in his house, so we shouldn't be surprised...and then they will move on with merrily.
end of story.

John that is so sad & mean, I don't want to sound crass & sorry if this offends but it sounds to me that she was the dog that bit the hand that fed her. Why the hell would you say something so cruel to anybody especially your husband. The talking about the kingdom all the time, I did the same. Not the kingdom so much but bout Jesus & in truth I still love talking bout him, wether you believe its real or just a story when I think how he treated others it makes me feel quite small (not in a bad way you understand). In the main most JDub`s go on cause they never feel good enough so they are trying to boost themselves, lets face it the org wont. For others it`s self-righteousness, others fear they think it`s what is expected of them like the young man who wants to pioneer but in his heart he doesn't. I`ve felt all these things at some time or another according to who it is I`m talking to, and I bet everyone else has at some time to. -

Watchtower Double Talk September 15, 2015
by LevelThePlayingField inis this double talk or is it just me?

I think their reasoning is sound look at this way. Lack of education = someone who is easily intimidated by others who have an education, in this case what could be higher than an education from God. Victim, signed sealed & delivered in to the borg. Cruel, but clever. It was easy a few decades ago cause every one (almost) believed in a God so it was just a question of proving the clergy wrong (not hard), that's not the way of it today why the hell would they want educated people who will ask questions that they cant answer, it would show them up & people will stop giving them money. There is the reason they don't want the next generation to get knowledge outside of them cause they will lose control (power) & as a consequence money (power). They have really thought this through. Give them credit where it`s due.

John Aquila, boring isn't a word that comes to mind when I read your comments. Yes you very well may have talked constantly about the kingdom but I think people who have a good sense of humour are that way wether they are JDub`s or no. I do agree that it is quite a shock when you listen to them & it`s the only thing they can talk about. Why is that do you suppose? -

Extreme emotions re today's watchtower
by Tornintwo ini was supposed to attend the meeting today, one of my once a month duties for the sake of my family and my fade.
i read the wt and i just can't stomach going.... what this wt does is again and again reiterate that only jws will survive the coming destruction and that they should be happy about this and raise ourselves erect...eg:.
we cannot expect that many people will suddenly convert to true christianity.

Tornintwo, I understand what your saying, I cant even read the crap anymore. That's the problem or joy of knowing ttatt. I feel that they insult Jesus sacrifice it can only cover the ones they say it covers. It`s a kinda grief that we go through, a disbelief almost. Pulls at the heart though don't it. Dont feel bad, shows that you got a heart. -

The Apostle Paul & John wouldn't qualify cause they would kick their asses when it came to the child abuse issues, shepherding those in need, shunning, baptising children, lying, twisting scripture, Hording millions of dollars for themselves while some of their members are living in poverty & a whole host of other things. -

not going to school
by Sabin ini don't know if it is the same where you are but where i live it is a common practise of jdub`s to withdraw their kid`s from school at about year 8 even younger in some cases.
they say they are being home schooled & of cause they do cover a certain amount of school topics.
don't get me wrong i`m not saying that it is wrong to home school a youngster, especially if they are being bullied or suffering in some way, but the jdub`s don't do it for this purpose, oh no their kid`s are out on the field service during what would be school hours.

I`m not talking here of a couple of kid`s I`m talking a mass. For those that do manage to stay they never go past year 10, I know of only 2. One was my own kid the other an elders daughter that did go on to uni. We have many congs here some have upward of 20 youngsters in them, it is so sad & I personally find it disgraceful, Is it the same where you are?
