  a few things come to mind.drop the fake ass british accentamerica is not interested in a "spiritual" pop starkaballah is just another religion, regardless of your argument that it is not.

  so many silly superstitions exist and many people really believe in them.. for example, if you break a mirror, you will get 7 years of bad luck.

  some people are afraid of friday 13th, or seeing a black cat, and so many more superstitions.. are you superstitious, and about what?.

  recently, dr. wolf-ekkehard loennig, a jw working in a leading position at the gene-science-department at the max-planck-institute, has been banned from the institute's website for spreading his view about evolution.

  he promotes the so called "intelligents design".

  max-planck-institute calles this creationism in disguise.

  as many of you know, my wife had a stroke back in september.

  i was so happy that over 80 people sent us public and private e-mails.

  some sent flowers and one person sent a gift.

  My wife didn't know that I wrote this. I just showed her all of the loving, warm, and encouraging comments. She was touched, and I got tears in my eyes, which is unusual for a curmudgion like myself.

  As you stated science teachers in high school are not scientists. They have minimal training. His project while interesting and perhaps rigorous, was not real science of any magnitude either.

  What Do The English & Australians Think Of Americans On This Board???

  it seems to me that this board's force comes mainly from our english and aussie friends.

  i've read comments that some have gotten annoyed that the society and gb seem to only stress the "american" english in their style of writing.

  i'm just curious as to what you think of your american brethren.

  Here is the operational definition of the two terms. I am a smart ass, and you are a dumb ass - just kidding guy.
  
  Yet, if you look up the term, smart ass in the dictionary, you will see my picture.
  
  Now, regarding Maddoner (did I spell that right?), I really don't care what her opinion is on any subject, or the opinion of any singer or actor, for that matter. Most of them are under educated and ill informed.

  My value speech need your input

  on the 9th i have my value speech for school i decided to do what i need to speak about and that is "why i believe the jehovah's witnesses are immoral"

  i only have 5-7 minutes and i know if i talk to much about them hiding the pedophiles withint the organization i will cry (tried that in the car today, bawled like a baby) so i need three good points about why i figured 1. they lie 2. they are misogynistc etc.

  any input would be great.

  Seven minutes is not much time to get points across.
  
  If I was doing it, I would discuss two issues: failed prophecy and how it has ruined people financially. Also, the one that Francois mentioned, the shielding of pedophiles.

  Where I live it is late, and I have to get my rest, plus, my wife told me that we have to get up early to do something or other. I have no idea what she has in mind, but I am sure that I will be there.
