  Meet the pup......

  i just wanted to introduce to you our new dog.

  he's a 5 year old sheltie named samba.

  we adopted him from a family who had to give him up due to allergies, it broke their heart to part with him as they had put a lot of love and care into him.

  What a beautiful doggie.
  
  I have owned two Shelties. The first one named Chelsie, stopped another dog from attacking my two little girls. She was injured in the process, with minor chest wounds. However, the vet told us that she would die. At that time, they did not have the proper antibiotics to prevent her death. He said that she would rally, then fade away. That is exactly what happened.
  
  Our second Sheltie named George lived a long life. However, we eventually had to put him to sleep. He was old, nearly blind and not functioning very well.
  
  Well, sorry to share my sad stories. I will say that we had many good years with those two dogs.

  i live in mexico and the dubs come to my door from time to time.

  usually i tell them that i hope that they can leave their religion because it's a cult.

  yesterday i told them that i'm gay and that i know they hate gays.

  I was in high school from 54 to 58. I played high school baseball for three of those four years. A JW friend of mine played high school basketball. Another JW friend of mine was on the track team.
  
  Sports were not encouraged, but they were not discouraged either.

  I did enjoy your work. However, I find one flaw in it. Viruses also suffered from oringal sin, and therefore were weakened, like other advanced forms of life, like the Diary Queen and Pizza Hut.
  
  These are facts you should seriously consider. As you often say - everything I have written is Bible based.

  On a humorus note on this grisly subject. It is not guns that kill people. I is bullets. They travel very fast when shot from a gun.

  You seem to think that everyone here packs a gun. That is very far from the truth. The people I know that have rifles, use them to get their meat to subsidize their grocery bill, places like Appalachia and the upper peninsala of Northern Michigan.

  You really piss me off. You stated, something like we are paranoid and fearful. That is a bunch of crap. I live in a safe neighborhood, as safe as yours.
  
  I have never owned a gun and don't plan to.
  
  However, my father taught me how to shoot a rifle when I was 8 years old. He was an expert marksman and had a medal from the Army as a result. My lesson took all of ten minutes. Ten years later, I came in third in a marksmanship contest. I had not shot a gun over those ten years.
  
  One lesson was to never point a gun at another person. A very simple rule that every child should learn.

  Thank you for your interesting obervations. I do believe that anyone who buys a gun, should go through training and prove their proficiency before they can buy a gun. They should get a license, just like people have to before driving a car.

  In our congregation, if a couple admitted to fornication, they were put on probation. After they were married the probation was lifted. I think that that was a good solution.

  i remember the elders telling us that we had to let everyone know that we were a jw.

  does your boss know that you're a jw?

  does your teacher know?

  When I was in High School, everyone knew that I was a Jehovah's Witness. I left in my mid 20's. I would try to explain the experience to people. That conversation would last all of 5 minutes. People were really not that interested.
