1. Most of you seem to be pretty satisfied that you left the the witness world but now that your gone what drives you now? what makes you excited about life?(just curious) me myself i am in a stand still where i dont really feel like im doing anything with my life. i live alone, all my friends live for the weekend which all they want to do on the weekend is get f***** up(on alcohol or drugs) the movie groundhog day is a perfect example of my life. So maybe I need to find love lol

2. Why do you guys post on here so much? I myself kind of feel like this site helps but i know eventually i will move on and not come here anymore but some of you have 1000's of posts mainly complaining about how your life in the watchtower was so bad which i dont mean to judge anyone but what is the need for 1000's of posts and making weekly posts of comments you wont hear at the during the watchtower! lol

3. Are most of you atheists? I dont agree with the witness world but i still believe in God, if you post on my topic tell me why you do or do not believe in god(if you want) and if you do believe in god are you going to a specific place for worship.

i dont mean to offend anyone these are just some of the question i have, I feel like i need to get counseling because i dont feel like i really have a direction in life right now. so if you have any advice on that i would appreciate because there are so many counselors out there, or maybe i should just man up and choose for myself the way i want to live my life but your thoughts would be appreciated! thank you

where should we go is a good argument tho because lots of ppl who leave jehovahs witnesses,specially the younger ones feel like they can just go buck wild they get into drugs,alcohol, crime, promiscuity, i myself when i was df'd at 19(now 24) i started getting into drugs and drinking alot, fortunately i never got into to much trouble with the law but one of my old jw friends who left the kh is now facing 10 to 15 years in prison for drug trafficking,and i know of several other examples of ex witnesses getting involved in things they probably wouldnt have if they would have stayed in the witness world . I myself am still lost as to what to do next with my life!

questions you could never get answers to

i remember when i was going to the meetings there were questions that i had which i could never get good answers too.

just one of them i had was how to explain how you knew if you were one of the one hundred and forty four thousand.

i remember trying to explain this to one of my work friends and the reasoning of you just know, like you know if u are a boy or girl sounded stupid to him.

another question i had was how come there was a tree ofknowledge of good and bad when adam and eve were suppose to be perfect?wouldnt bad be part of imperfection?

since it was never in my heart i was never very dedicated and was disfellowshipped by nineteen i started the process of coming back but after bout four months i moved out.

i started partying alot mainly with my other disfellowshipped friends and nonactive jw frien, we were drinking alot and smoking weed but soon i started feeling the need to go back so i started up at the meetings but i got bored and went back to my old ways, this has been what i have been doing for the last five years, partying getting drunk and drugs and then stopping and going back to the meetings for a couple months, the same process for last the last almost five years.

thanks again for all your responses i have recently decided to change my number and deactivate my fb for now to avoid the temptation of wanting to party all the time with my friends and now i want to seek counseliing,where is a good place to look, ive been searching thruthe internet but there are so many i guess i should just pick one but if anyone else has gone to counseling i would like to know how your experience was

thanks everyone for your responses,one of my biggest problems has been my confidence in myself has been low and just lack of motivation lately, iust got to stop being negative with myself and just make things happen and make the life that i want cuse what do i have to lose, but for some reason i always have this fear in the back of my mind that holds me back from doing certain things and even though i do agree with nothing to lose, i just cant get it thru to myself but counseling is something im definetly going to try.

ive lived in arizona all my life and lately been thinking alot about moving to another state.

im thinking san diego right now and am currently saving to move hopefully this summer in june or july .

so have any of you ever moved somewhere brand new where u knew no one, no family or friends, i think it would be nice to have a fresh start and new environment i.

yeah i read this article and presented it to my parents but they said that would not apply to me since i did answer the questions so according to this article i would not be eligible for rebaptism, i dont know how anyone could qualify for this cuse doesnt everyone have to answer the questions ? and i understood what i was doing when i got baptized it was just that my parents kept bugging me about when i was going to and when they said they were goimg to change their minds about my car i didnt want to lose out on that

thanks everyone for your responses yeah i do have to just figure out what makes me happy and i wouldnt consider myself an addict i just went thru five months of no drugs and no getting drunk, i might only of drank maybe five beers total during that period,those five months i isolated myself from all my friends and started to go back to the meetings occasionally but i got really bored of just sitting around watching tv and seeing every movie that has came out since aug by myself, i dont know what the reinstatement process is but i just figure they ask u questions on who u have been associating with but recently i got really fed up with all of the lonliness and got back on facebook and got back with some old friends and went to a party, i got really messed up and next day felt sick and bad about it all,and now im just trying to figure out my next move. has anyone tried counseling? i feel like maybe that might help but i also feel like i need god in my life i was on youtube and alot of the exjws youtubers are bornagain, anyone haveanything to say about that? and sorry im typing from my cell so hopefully this all makes sense
