they say the average person will own about 25 cars in their life time.. from 1982 to 1988 i owned a 1971 dodge challenger convertible.
it had a 340 with a 4 speed stick.
i loved that car.. i didnt cry when my wife left me....i did cry when that car drove out of my life!.

Lost forever after the Holley carb leaked and I barley had enough time to jump out of the car when it was engulfed in fire. It was not reliable, got horrible gas mileage - but oh was it pretty !
when reading all of the variety of toppics on this site it appears by the lack of responses that some dont really care about your subject?
or they just cant find the word to say, or they mosly like reading but not commenting.
and some subjects ive read that have had many comments compared to others are just plane stupid as hell.

now that we are all thinking about jw memorial - i was just remembering all the silly superstitions the jws have put around this - their only holiday.
as far as i can tell, none of these are actually biblical:.
1) - it must be held only once per year.. 2) - it must be held on "nisan 14".. 3) - it must be held after sundown.. 4) - the bread must be unleavened.. 5) - the wine must be plain (not fortified) red wine.
When my dad was an elder - I remember my mom washing the plates and and glasses that were used for the memorial. We never used those plates or glasses except when my mom got them out for the memorial. When my dad stepped down from elder - they never asked to use our special plates and glasses anymore.
I was only 11 but I think even I felt remotely snubbed.

When I re married - it was to a non JW - and at a reception hall with a non religious service. And yet my elder brother still decided not to come " due to his obligation to Jehovah". He admitted years later after much bad blood, that is was a mistake and that he should have come - he regretted his choice.
she's 77 and both mum and dad have been witnesses for nearly 30 years.
they've been pretty hardline in their time but just recently things have changed.
today, to my joy, mum wanted to celebrate her birthday so i bought her a big bunch of flowers and a box of chocolates (yeah i know, not very imaginative) and intend to take them out to lunch tomorrow when i've got more time.
What a great story - one can only hope for such a great outcome !
firstly a wedding/sales talk that mostly features heavily on how the woman should behave (hint, doormat) and lightly brushes over the fact of the husbands bevhaviour ( oh yeah he should treat her well).
the reception normaly at some crummy comunity hall with yellowed ceilings and chucks of damp plaster falling off the walls.
the seats normaly arranged facing eachother all around the edge, so that theres a huge unused space in the middle and everyone is climbing over everyone elses legs to get to their chair.. a big spread donated by everyone, normaly an ode to food poisoning.
When I married my ex - the wedding was at the KH and they charged me a hall rental, which I thought was ridiculous. I remember it was $400. No secular music - only kingdom melodies. One of my brides maids was privately reproved and she could not be on stage - even though it was private.
so it's been a while since i've posted on the site to hello everyone.
i just am so irritated by these fools that i have to tell you guys about this.
so my husband was on his way to the store and he stopped to pump gas and there were some witnesses doing street witnessing and this brother gets out and comes up to him (i was at home, this is my hubby telling me about this) this happens to be the po of the spanish hall my mother goes to.
Perhaps tell the annoying JW student that the online school is not the place for religious debate and then if she would like to discuss religious ideas to join her for a "discussion" on jehovahs-witnesses.net

my son is having two large cysts removed tomarrow, they are in sort of a delicate area.
because of where they are located, the potential for heavy blood loss is high.
