  There are so many that are ‘in’ that will refuse to listen to this, they will feel that they have no need to heed the following scripture’s

  royal navy submarines have launched a number of cruise missiles to assist with removing the taliban's war fighting capability.. congratulations and a big thank-you to all the sailors of the royal navy.

  The above thread helped me to reason on just how silly the ‘No Birthday Celebration’ rule is. There are many thing’s that we could reason are bad………if we were miserable enough.

  Meeting's..........the best Medicine!!!

  do you remember those truly wonderful occasions when the meeting was in full swing, and something/one would make you laugh uncontrollably............so much so that you had to go out.

  (and yes, your were sat on the front row!

  you would go out and feel terribly guilty, and when you thought you were under control, you would venture back in only to find that the air was still full of laughter (on your row)..............truly wonderful meetings!!

  the hardcore jehovahs witness know that it is not real, that its all a mind game or if you like a make-believe reality they live in.. all jws sooner or later come to this knowledge and then some decide to stay and some decide to leave.

  " said one jw elder i spoke to on the phone yesterday.. he said that there was a sister that has been a jw for more than 50 years that said "at last, something is hapenning.".

  (btw, he told me that most congregations in the us have been instructed that when talking to people, they should not bring up the issues of blood or neutrality.

  I agree, that is seems that the dominant emotion is that of "excitment" of which I found quite frightening from my usually very caring JW friend. The more I think about her comments, the more I am repelled by JW's. I know that it is their 'conditioning' which rules their brains........the fear, etc.

  I shall have to be patient with her as I personally remember that FEAR, which also goes along with the “excitement”.

  I'm A Better Parent Than Any JW.

  i was sat watching tv tonight, her ladyship was dozing after a hard day, george the cat was purring and number 3 son had fallen asleep.. number 2 son was talking on the phone to his girlfriend, number 1 was out selling finance to prospective home-buyers.. know what?

  these sons of mine know that i am always on their side, no matter what they do.

  i can't think of anything that they could do to stop me loving them.

  I reckon you are right. You are a better parent than a lot of JW’s. The FEAR that children are instilled with from a VERY young age, is most saddening to say the least. I remember the dread of Armageddon coming in ‘75’. I would have been about 13 then It’s only in the last couple of year’s that I have had my eyes opened, to realize that it is FEAR of many JW teaching’s disfellowshipping/ Armageddon/ loss of friends, etc, that keep many in the religion. Just how do you get through this??

  i worked on the 70th floor at 2wtc as an employee of morgan stanley.

  i was supposed to be in early but decided to go make it late.
