  could i walk into a K/Hall and get literature?

  just wondering!.

  i know many would say ''why the hell would you do that?".

  just wondering if i could actually get hard copies of some stuff for a 'donation' and not have to hunt it down.... mind you, i'd have a hard time making myself look conservative!.

  why does every ex-elder who went through so much turmoil while being an elder always whine to me about how much it sucked, yet when i mention that i don't want to be one, they suddenly get all nostalgic and tell me what a blessing it is to serve as an e-man?.

  elder.. period.. maybe i might have a change of heart one day if they actually require these men to have some sort of actual psychological/communication training or if they start handing out paychecks.

  but until then, i respectfully decline.. .

  i got the movie walking the line about johny cash.

  i was watching it with my husband and it showed that he was a d2d salesman before he hit it big.

  as my husband and i were watching the movie it showed the householders being rude and slamming the door in his face, etc.

  in 1961 my father was disfellowshipped for not doing to the kingdom hall he was assigned to.. if i'm lying...my dying!.
