Yes, they should. Although I'm now free and recovering, I've still lost a huge part of myself because of this goddamn cult.

Many people have died because of them and for those who were lucky enough to survive and walk out like many of us, it can take YEARS to recover from the psychological and emotional damage those vicious people cause.

Not nearly enough is done to highlight just how dangerous this evil organisation really is.

I wouldn't say I'm drastically different as such, but I certainly feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I feel like someone who has been wearing tight clothing all their life suddenly changing into loose fitting silk.

But I would say I'm a nicer guy and not so paranoid of people like I was.

Jeebus could have been nailed on a coconut palm tree, it doesn't matter cos he never existed anyway, he's just metaphorical like the rest of the bible accounts. Only WTS would make a big deal of something so trivial and unimportant.

- some loser once took offense that i hugged a sister goodbye at a leaving do and ran back to the elders like a little child telling on me.

i was 15, this sister was in her 40s at the time.. - this elder said someone told him they saw me with a copy of the sun newspaper.

yes, this paper is known for its 'page 3' topless girls but far from pornagraphic and i wasn't even thinking along those lines.. - one brother who had a good job was 'counselled' because he was actually able to buy himself nice things including a new car (shock, horror!!

Amazing, isn't it? That "sister" was "stumbled" at you saying the letter F so much she went to the elders like a crybaby, yet she wasn't even righteous enough to reveal herself as a "sister" to you even though she knew you were a dub. I think she didn't reveal herself to you because she thought that doing so would make you be on your best behaviour and she just wanted to catch you doing something wrong so she can blab it off to the elders. Such a typical stupid mindset only a witness could have.

i don't even know where to start.

every jw i still have contact with is poor, their health is bad, they're stressed out, they're unhappy people.

they put on a good front but you can see the strained smiles, those distant looks into nowhere (or where their life could have gone).

Now that I'm out, I've really seen how JWs are throwing their lives away over nothing. It's sad. You can't even discuss having a "career" you have to talk about "jobs" and even then, some people will still judge you and ask if you ever plan to pioneer or do any other useless activity in "kingdom works". It pisses me off to see all those youngsters losing out on life.
