Even though I don't know you, Mrs Jones, I got your back regardless!
It amazes me that even when someone no longer attends, the Jehovah Wickedness always have to come up out the woodwork and show their ass and still insist on getting in your business and meddling in other people's family affairs. I told my wife if we ever cross paths with a dub and that garbage comes out sideways, I've got the (verbal) trigger finger waiting for 'em.

5 & 6 really kill me.
If these senile lowlives in Crooklyn Beth-hell have "the truth", why do they need to command their followers not to examine apostate websites?
"Mentally diseased"....wow! Their language is getting a lot more facetious and stronger. It's only a matter of time before they start calling us "those unspiritual, disloyal, bitch ass muthaf*ckas" in their future editions lol.

Is this normal witness behavior?
by confusedstudent ini quit my bible study a couple days ago after taking a month or two to work up the guts.
have been getting harassing emails/phone calls blah blah blah.
but i got an email today telling me that an unbelieving spouse can be "sanctified" by his believing mate.

I would just laugh it off like your husband for the rubbish it is.
There's sooooo many booby traps - from not drooling over the governing body, to wearing the wrong colour shirt, to scratching your head the wrong way - that can prevent someone getting into the fictitious paradisiacal land of milk and honey that no one will make it there anyway.

I would describe the Watchtower's Disfellowshipping as truly merciless
by sabastious inthoughout my life i have seen many take the walk of shame that is disfellowshipping.
i have never been df'ed, but i have had many experiences reading the faces of newly df'ed ones.. their faces are always the same.
defeated by a foe that they never had a chance with in the beggining; a raping so-to-speak.

Also, don't forget those "repentant" ones who try to return to the Big Cancer have to go through the humiliation of sitting at the back of the hall while everyone stares at the individual funny and ignores them totally disregarding the pain inflicted on another human being.

There was a girl in my school who was also a dub who got baptised the same day as me, same assembly hall and everything.
Anyway, three years go by we lost contact and I was saying to a bro "I need to get T___ number and give her a call". He said "that's probably not a good idea". I said "why not?" He then told me she was recently disfellowshipped. Her crime? Speaking to a disfellowshipped friend of hers a few times on the phone and not being sorry about it. She only wanted to see if the poor girl was ok as she had no family. But of course the loving JW christians were having none of it and DF'D her too! Her dad was an elder and everything! This was around '98. A few people confirmed it to be true.
I guess everyone in the Jehovah Wickedness mafia is disposable.

So angry with myself right now....
by Reality79 inearlier today i was at a local tyre shop standing outside getting a couple of my wheels replaced when this 'sister' who i haven't seen for a number of years decided to approach me.
i didn't even recognise her at first because her hairstyle was different and she was wearing these oversized shades, but this is someone who was always funny with me from day one and hardly ever said a word to me even when i used to be in her book study group that was in her home back in the 90s.. anyway, she asked if it was me and then she said who she was in case i didn't remember.
she told me she saw my sister at the memorial last night (my sister who is inactive wasn't even going to attend that particular memorial, but because this f**king elder i used to hate called her out of the blue to "encourage" her to attend, she went along) blah blah blah but didn't get to speak to her for too long.. so she asked me what congregation i go to but then quickly asked if i'm still in the "truth".

BTW the following day after this incident, I was in a local shopping centre where I bumped into this guy I used to be fairly good friends with. As I vowed to never repeat the same mistake as the day prior, I told him straight out that me and my wife no longer attend meetings. Surprisingly, he didn't speed off like road runner or look at me in disgust, but he actually admitted that being a witness nowadays is just an endless struggle and brings little joy!
I told him that although I'm not an 'apostate' (I'm sure I am in WTS terms) I don't believe in any organisation that claims you can only have a relationship with God/Creator through them and who dictate how and what you should act, think, talk etc as it doesn't allow for personal development and individuality. But I half jokingly said I'm not on any drugs or any other misconceptions JWs have of anyone who leaves. In fact my health has actually improved since I've left. He said he understood and could see I look well. I asked him if he was still in our old congregation and he said no he and his wife moved to a different hall a year and a half ago but it turned out to be a lot worse than their old one!
Anyway, suprisingly he asked for my number and gave me his. Maybe he'll try to talk me out of it (which will never work in a million years) or maybe I'll help him to see the real light, who knows! I'm so glad I never repeated the same mistake with the lady the day before.
Watch this space.....

Then they seriously wonder why ex-jws always have the most to say about the cult than any other person who leaves their religion.
This is why I'll NEVER attend any witness occassion for any reason. My wife's cousin is getting married in June (her mother's side of the family has always been funny towards me and never liked me that much, while her father's side who are not witnesses have always been good as gold - surprise, surprise....) and I told her no way am I attending. I simply refuse to give anyone the opportunity and pleasure to publically humiliate me like the OP experienced.
It's a shame you drove 1200 miles and invested in all that fuel for nothing, but it's simply a hard lesson learned - don't ever trust any witnesses. Not even those you were close to.
Never be fooled by all those typical fake smiles when the reality is a lot more sinister.
