@james woods
I complained to the circuit overseer that this was nonsense - and he replied that it was proven because his heart beat faster when he was having sex. I kid you not.
LOL WTF????
i know there's plenty.. one that comes to mind is the blood doctrine.
whole blood is bad, blood fractions may be ok but not all.....wtf?

the current governing body has become a liability for the watchtower society.
they no longer qualify to serve based on the standards that they impose on others.
they have blatantly broken the law in australia.
@Quendi
Couldn't have said it better myself! Seven amens to that.
he's aggressive, viscious, unforgiving and woud'nt let anyone come into my house.. i am talking about my bulldog guys .
"He's aggressive, viscious, unforgiving......"
You sure you're talking about your dog?
recently i remembered another example which shows how hateful and unchrist-like the witnesses are brainwashed into being.. a long time ago, when i was a pioneer, i was hanging out with a group of long-time pioneers after the district convention, in the stadium hallway.
some had been pioneering for more than 10 years and therefore were considered to be spiritually mature.
a woman who appeared to be a sister was walking by; she paused and greeted us and said something like, "what a great program that was.
And they claim to be followers of Jesus when he didn't even shun the devil himself or Judas.

In fact, my sister who is thankfully no longer active has stated for years she never cared about their bullshit shunning rules, she always felt it was wrong. She recalled one time at the memorial where everyone looked at her in disgust because she dared to greet and chat to a disfellowshipped former elder who used to help look after and bring food for our mother before she passed after a long battle with cancer.
She said that elder helped our mum while she was alive so no made up bullshit rule from the society was going to stop her from being polite to someone who cared for our mother on her deathbed. At least HE was one of the few decents JWs in that nasty organisation and thankfully he finally left the cult.
So the GB and all their die hard followers can take their rules and shove it up their collective asses and leave the rest of decent humankind the hell alone!

I'm sickened by that. Absolutely disgusting behaviour, but I don't expect any different from people in the nasty jehovah wickedness organisation.
i have just started my new course to be a qualified counsellor.
naturaly i am studying this because of my own background and now i want to help others who have had similar strains on their lives.. i know the pressure that the jw organisation puts on its members, so i was wondering, if you dont mind saying so of course, did any of you attend counselling sessions due to the pressures and problems that the jw life brought along?.
i can imagine that the majority of my old congregation (myself, my dad and my brother included) would need some form of counselling or medication in order to remain sane.
When I was first inactive, I had therapy mainly because of the things I suffered in the borg. Sadly, my therapist died a year ago so I'm not getting any at the moment.
Before therapy I used to be from the school of thought that I would never mention the fact I was a JW because I didn't want to make the borg "look bad".
Imagine......the GB doesn't give a shit about YOUR wellbeing as you're just religious canon fodder to them, but YOU, the one who really needs the help, will refrain from relaying information that will aid in your healing because you feel like you have to protect THEM and their reputation. Do you really see how this organisation has/had f*cked up our minds? SMH
as an ex-jw do you tell people about your jw past?
how much detail do you go into when you tell non-jw's about the organization.
i usually only ever say anything if somebody asks about my religious affiliation or mentions jw's.
I do, but only if opportunity arises. I don't do out the blue informal anti-witnessing!
Sometimes you need to be careful especially work because 1)you never know who is a JW apologist/sympathiser who might even take offence at criticism of the borg and 2)you don't want to come across as someone who is obsessively hateful to the point where you look more of a lunatic than the organisation itself!
Whenever the opportunity arises then yes by all means I give a very good anti witness and 9 times out of 10 people aren't very surprised and even have their own not so good stories to tell about the JWs.
The dubs never cared about my name and reputation when I was in so I don't give a fukk about theirs.
tasked with hiring a new employee, iff you were looking through potential employee candidates and you were asked to pick one to hire, would knowing one is a jw put that candidate in a negative light?.
Nope, sorry. I've not only worked with J-dubs, I've worked for them which was even worse. They can be just as nasty as any "wordly" person, believe me.
I don't need any horrible reminders of my bad past, thank you. I don't want anything more to do with them than they want to do with me.
Reality because I no longer believe in the fake la la land teachings of the watchtower. '79 because that's the year I was born.
