Wasn't this doc meant to come out two years ago? I remember seeing a different trailer for this in 2011?

So where is all this supposed worldwide persecution of Jehovah's Witnesses?
by Reality79 infor years, it was drummed into our heads that the whole world lies in the hands of the wicked one who hates us and a result, mankind particularly hates the jws with a passion.. now that i think about it, i've seen very little evidence of that.
i mean yes, in places like malawi, germany and some other countries the witnesses have been through real persecution - not the type that the average dub would call it like doors being slammed in the face.
but what have they experienced that many other religions in other countries haven't?

Recently, I met a JW who said "Satan is persecuting JW's by all the good jobs requiring higher education"... Seriously.
WTF?

For years, it was drummed into our heads that the whole world lies in the hands of the wicked one who hates us and a result, mankind particularly hates the JWs with a passion.
How is the persecution unique?
Other than that, they're not even on the average person's radar. Unless someone has been directly affected by the witnesses i.e. losing a member to the cult who greatly limits association with once close family relatives or friends, no one even talks about them. They claim that as this system draws to an end there will be more media lies and hostility directed at them etc etc, but the Candace Conti case was the last time I've personally seen anything about them in the media....and even then, what was reported was factual. Apart from a few jokes here and there, I don't see or hear anything about them where people are plotting to kill them or expressing outright hatred. In fact, even when there has been anti-JW sentiment expressed online, I see just as much sympathisers and defenders of JWs.....so where is all this super strong worldwide hate exactly? By the way they used to talk about, I would have thought that by now there would be newspaper articles and media outlets damn near encouraging everybody to slaughter the first JW they see!
I don't talk much about my JW past, but when I have, people generally just shrug their shoulders and say that they don't know that much about the witnesses at all. Of course there are people who hate JWs, but in generally most people are simply indifferent and don't even care about them. A year ago, when an old JW friend of mine was saying that witnesses are the "most hated religion", I said that is not true at all. I said that no one can tell me that people in general hate JWs more than the muslims post-9/11. Apart from expressing annoyance at being woken up in the mornings, or the blood issue, people in general don't really have an issue. They'd just rather the witnesses kept to themselves.
It's no wonder most witnesses have a persecution complex and are totally paranoid when the GB is feeding them this unhelathy nonsense. I'm really supposed to believe that one day out of the blue, the governments and the majority of people who have a million other worries and much bigger fish to fry are just gonna suddenly pick up any weapon they can find and hunt down witnesses like animals in the woods? Just to think I wasted so many years of being afraid of this b.s. scenario. SMH.

Shouldn't Society Practise What They Preach??????

I've been saying this for the longest......
Shouldn't the money used for many of these luxuries go to dubs in poorer countries so they can have better and more comfortable facilities?
They tell everyone else to keep their eyes simple, yet our money that went to the so called preaching work was paying for Brother John Doe to be living like Jay-Z.

Who is it really disciplining????
by jeremiah18:5-10 inthe wts sanctions the practice of shunning or disfellowshipping of unrepentant wrongdoers.
this practice cuts the person off from not only the congregation members, but also their still believing family.
the wts backs up their action by threatening the members (congregation and family) with being df'ed themselves if they choose to associate with the df'ed person.. the claim in part is that its an act of loving discipline that may move the wrongdoer to repentance and to return to the congregation and thus to jehovah.
-
Reality79
What if the "wrongdoer" however is apathetic or very definitively doesn't want to return? What if they have no interest in living an immoral life or getting involved in politics or violence or any other "bad" conduct? Is such a person benefitted by this "loving discipline" at all?
None of that matters to them. Once you're DF/DA, you might as well be a rapist and mass murderer as far as the org is concerned. I read on a recent thread that now they are even subtly encouraging JWs to start shunning inactive ones. Soon people will start shunning others who do less than 20 hours a month on the ministry.
Any religion that makes people scared to breath while treading on eggshells isn't operated by "love" at all. They're a nasty and vicious organisation who twist scriptures to suit their evil agenda. I mean, the very nerve to tell people to shun their own children who leave "the truth" and end up tearing apart families is totally heinous. What gets me is, everybody's following the instructions of a group of men (who couldn't give two shits about anybody) they don't know personally and will never even meet.

Jehovah's Witnesses and Divorce
by Eustace ini really hate divorce.
it was my parents getting divorced that helped messed up my childhood.. part of why i came to conclude the jehovah's witnesses don't have the "spiritual paradise" they claim to is how many of their marriages end up in divorce.my parents i could dismiss as an exception to a general rule, but i could never understand how often it seemed to keep happening to lots of different people when the watchtower society teaches that divorce is wrong except in case of adultery.. but what really brought things home for me was this study by the pewforum on religion survey showing that even though jehovah's witness are less likely to be married than the general population, they're more likely to be divorced or separated.. http://religions.pewforum.org/.
they really have a nerve telling people in the jehovah's witnesses religion that they shouldn't have sex outside of marriage when they've done so little to protect jws who get married, and their children, from the extreme stress and conflict of divorce.. it's really messed up.. heck, even the catholics they're are always dumping on have a lower divorce/separation rate than the jws.. jw divorced/separated = 14%.

They're just so naive and clueless, aren't they? Everything is simply black and white to them. It would be amusing if it wasn't so serious at times.

Is There A Part Of You Still Left In The Organization?
by ÁrbolesdeArabia inevery soldier entering the war zone leaves behind a little piece of themself.
the gulf war is estimated to cost the v.a.
billions of dollars in disability because of the affects the war has had on these young and middle age soldiers.

Anyone who has been in the org for decades or several years and claims to be completely over it is lying.
The belief system becomes a part of your DNA. Leaving the org isn't like leaving a long term career. Remember, they're a very high control group and their teachings really get in your psyche. They're not like a more a liberal organisation that at least allows you to have friends outside, they're hardliners who go to the extreme and use emotional and mental blackmailing tactics to keep you in. You never get over it completely when you grew up in it, had family and 'friends' in it and lived your whole entire life based on it. Leaving can be very traumatic....not just because of the teachings, but due to the fact that you lose everybody and everything you even knew.
They're a very wicked organisation and know damn well what they're doing. They make sure that if you dare to leave, you pay the price. Even when you're out, you still sometimes get plagued by "what if" thoughts, although with some people it obviously varies.
