i have a friend who is a jw, and i don't think she is right at all.
do you guys have any convincing arguments on why jw is wrong?
They've called themselves prophets, yet haven't gotten one right.
They protect child molestors.
Christ said you'd know his followers by the love shown among the brothers, didn't see much of that.
They use emotional blackmail to keep you in. You want to leave? You'll lose everyone you love.

my jw friend told me there was a part on the service meeting last night, about calling on inactive ones.
we knew that was in the km.
she said the po gave it as a talk, and said there were 15 inactive ones in their territory (we are 2 of them), and that elders had been assigned to call on all of them to encourage them.. but..................he said all those in the congregation can and should call on inactive ones regularly, and truly encourage them.

Very Clever Sara. Although some of those bulbs seem to be flickering a bit. Maybe so much so that the GB already finds itself in the dark more often than not.
i was talking to a witness who is still in and she said they gave a talk at the hall, about submissive wives and were told that if the husband wants to go somewhere for the holiday and the wife want to go somewhere else she will need to be respectful and do what the husband wants.
and she can go on her prefered choice of holiday the following year...... .
the husband is to make all major decisions such as where they will .
Boy that outline sounds like a formula for a really crappy marriage. Many guys think they want a wife to be a servant to them, but in reality that bites. Much nicer to have a partnership. Boy if I had made all the decisions then I'd be the one responsible for everything right? That would suck.
how do you visualize a year?
in my mind, i see a year as a sphere, where january is on top, and july in on the bottom.

Marylin I doubt anyone will get it. Talk is cheap. We've had local needs talks about gossip at my old hall yet after the meeting people were gossiping about the gossips.
