Gordon Brown's baby has died

very sad.

.

whether you like or dislike him as a politician you have to admit that he did look genuinely overjoyed and 'proud as punch' at the birth of his little girl unlike some who appeared to see such events as a photo opportunity.. sadly, she was quite premature and i've just heard on the news that she has died.

Praying before meals

my jw wife is teaching my nearly-3yr old to pray before meals.

i'm cool with that... doesn't bother me at all.

the problem is, i'd like to accept my role as father but i don't know how to lead in this area.

I think the way you take the lead is to not do anything you don't want to do. You don't want to pray, don't pray. Don't sweat it one way or the other.

LOTR Jackson Review...SPOILERS!!!!

the hardest thing to do, i think, must be to make a movie and get it sold, when everyone already knows the ending.

I've never read a LOTR's book so this was all new to me. I can say I enjoyed the movie, until the ending. That really left me hanging. Now I know there are two sequels coming out, but come on. That was weak. Most people in the theater felt as I did. At least the ones I overheard. Right in the middle of the scene, the credits roll.

Oh well, I think I'll wait for the DVD on the next one.

Do I convert for him????

i am going totally crazy without him in my life.

i miss talking to him for hours on the phone, i miss spending time with him, i miss being a part of his life.

it was my decision to end things, and i know he still wants to be with me, but i am still torn to pieces.

butalbee you've received some good advise here in my opinion. Don't convert. If the JW's are causing you some sadness now, you won't believe how bad it gets later. And there is NO getting out without serious problems.

Letting go now will only hurt for a short time. The hurt will last a long time if you were to convert.

Passes for Ground Zero

starting tomorrow the only way to have access to the viewing platforms that were built in order to let visitors have a "closer" look at the ruins at gz is by obtaining a "pass" being handed out every day early in the morning.. this to accomadate the large crowds and demands to view the ruins.. if you dont get a pass to be able to go up the 13ft.platform which can accomadate about 400 people at a time, then you have to view the ruins from the perimeter established.. i wanted to post this info.

in order to keep showing everyone that the wt boasts of having jws walking "around the debris" talking to others about the "truth" is a lie.. as you can see the closest that you can get is only through one of the viewing platforms-and now only with a pass.. and no freddy, i'm not talking about standing next to the bank and streching out your neck as far up as you can.. mav.-

nytelecom1 we did hear about the society's bragging about the comfort they gave AT ground zero. They handed out brochures while pastors of christedom only gave out towels and water.

But they didn't GET to ground zero, even though it was claimed they did. So watch your half truths.
