  i went to my first peace rally and march tonight.

  it was incredible.

  at one time there were probably 350 of us all joined in solidarity.

  I am angry that at a time in our country when we are under increased terror alert that protesters are diverting the attention of the police because they equate protesting to anarchy. The police need to be looking for our safety not babysitting people that want freedom but deny that to Iraq.

  Very good point and I hadn't considered it. In this case the protestors are doing more harm than good. After all during VietNam we weren't concerned about terror. Methinks the protestors need to think rather than make themselves feel good. But then again, it's all about them.

  Not from my end it won't. I think I'm able to disagree with someone without hating them. I look forward to the next apostafest up north to see if that's true.

  I'm also sure that some are going to lose friends over this. They haven't learned how to disagree well yet.

  With all the claims of how they were yelling at the operator to stop, who was yelling at her to get out of the way?

  That wouldn't have suited the demonstators purpose would it?

  I'm sure her parents and friends will remember it, too, but likely not with the same elation you feel.

  I just wanted to post now and include Heaven and bed in the same sentence.

  My kitty sneaks in bed every night and lays under the blankies down by my feet. The two stupid dogs are next to the bed.

  ever since the ussr fell it seems the jw's have been trying to find anyone to proclaim the king of the south (sorry if thats not how u say it but i'm just directly translating "rey del sur" ) just wondering if anyone knows who is the latest suspect, n korea maybe?

  by the way, another example of how elitist the wts is, albeit subtle, why isnt the us the king of the south?

  after all geographically speaking the former ussr is further north than the us.

  You can recognize the followers of Christ by the love shown among the brothers. Almost makes you want to puke doesn't it?

  Today I spent some time thinking about my son and how I got him involved. I feel pretty damn guilty about all that now.

  When we went to our only apostafest my wife mentioned that people there conducted themselves as witnesses are supposed to. It honestly felt like a home filled with love and loving people.

  Of course this wasn't held in Dallas.

  It's a do or die situation

  Didn't have to be a do or die situation did it? Was it worth dying for? I don't think so.

  In all honesty I respect her decision to protest. But as lew said, that thing is slow, it's slower than a baby walks. Anyone think her death was worth it? I don't.

  I am going to raise the average age of this webite. I'm 56 1/2. But I'm very immature. Ask any of my players. Oh and on our state trip, I enjoyed playing pracitcal jokes on them. Great stuff. The itching powder was my favorite. The horny boy really hopped around.
