i was thinking to myself today,people suck humans suck.i know that when i was younger i used to see myself helpng people.but now i could care less.the reason is because in reality things will never get better.i am not saying god is going to help us.i do not believe in god.i feel that no mattr what charity you give to an organization in the end it is all futile and pointless.this life we live is hard and can seem pointless.does anybody else feel that way..

i suffered nervious breakdown after i was disfellowshipped for not taking the neutrality stand. and for the next 21 years iwas in the state of depression. but once i started taking my medicine regulary my mood improved. now i am less negative towards living.

Jevovah's Witnesses and mental health

does anyone know if the society has specific policies on the handling of members with mental health problems?.

my grandfather, a brother in good standing since moses developed paranoid schizophrenia in his later years.

he got to the stage where he would knock people over in the street, place his hand on thier head and cast out evil spirits in the name of jehovah.. he was disfellowshiped and not long after he passed away.. this was related to me by a friend years later as i was unaware due to the shunning, i didn't even know he died.

i notice a vast great difference between the time when i was mentally sound and when i became mentally illed;one that i had the energy to cope and in the other that i was only surviving

this topic has been discussed before ... i just wanted to put my two cents in.. i will start off by saying that of course mental illness exists outside of the organization.

although it may not be right to blame others,i was under stress when i was studying in senior high;i did not suffer a nervious breakdown.it was only when i took the neutrality stand that i went into depression.

A Possible Reason Why Some Want To Be Jehovah's Witnesses

i think some want to be witnesses even if they know some of the teachings and views are questionable because they feel special!.

if they get a "privilege" or are allowed to pioneer or allowed to preach from house to house and be "ministers", they feel like they are somebody.. what do you think?

i am a bible study at 12,baptized at 17.i was disfellowshipped thereafter.(for not taking the neutrality stand)i was reinstated 3years later.by then i suffered mental depression.it lasted 21years(because i skip medication).

A truly mind boggling experience

i dated someone earlier tonight and she looks pretty good, she invited me over to her home.

she has a very good salary(she has phd degree) but i do not understand why she chose to live in a white trash mobile home park.

i asked her how long she is going to live there, she said she just signed 2 year lease last month.
