  Has the WTS ever sued a "brother" or any baptised Witness?

  hopefully someone has some information on this.

  i think it is an important question because from recent observation on another jw website, it has come up that some jw bethelites are suing the wts in workers comp cases after getting injured while at bethel.

  this is big news to me since i have a similar case outstanding right now.

  First of all, according to every cult expert, exit counselor or any professional who regularly deals with destructive mind control cults: Jehovah's Witnesses are a cult.   Knowing that we all need mercy, Jesus said that "with the same judgment we judge others, we will be judged."

  Speaking for JUST MYSELF, this principle is not a Christian principle only. This is a standard of all decent people.

  I don't hate elders, COs, DOs, Bethelites, ex or otherwise. My attitude and belief is that regardless of their intentions, they will live with the results they spent a lifetime to create.

  How is this any different from the rest of us? Don't the rest of us also live with what we created? Why are these "older men" immune from criticism?

  I do not enjoy the victim mentality from any perspective. Truly it was said best, the only VICTIMS were the children who had no choice (what else is new?) All of us, at some point in our lives, are victims of something bad, or hard, or evil. The question is--do we allow it to continue?

  Victims of the WT are different from victims of spousal abuse, as an example. "Victims" of the WT are in that situation because at their core they choose to believe that out of 6 Billion human beings, Jehovah chose them to be his special chosen few. 1%. That's laughable, even from a mathematical perspective.

  If it makes you feel better, I believe that most people living in the United States RARELY think deeply about their lives and the effect they have on other human beings in the world. JWs are not special.

  Nauseating Trip down memory lane.....

  i was reading through a journal i kept for my oldest son when he was a baby, and came accross a couple of entries that just make me cringe.

  i was writing about my grandparents, the last of which passed away (not witnesses) when he was still less than a year old.

  the journal is written like a letter to him for when he is older.

  still laughing about this one.

  last year at the dc, the brother during the announcements asked the sisters to us the bathroom facilities faster because someone else is waiting to use it and please limit your use of toilet paper.. never though i would see the day when they would tell you how to pee!

  You have no way of knowing this....but I have every episode of B&B on DVD that's out there.....

  I started my daughter on a diet of certain B&B cartoons at age 5, she loved them. "Walkathon" is a favorite....Of course 11 years later she is an accomplished cartoonist...LOL...

  I think you guys are being as harsh as I ever was.

  Some of us have left and repented. No forgiveness?

  I don't think so. I think it't MEAN to tell people they're going to die tomorrow because they didn't sell magazines today.

  NOTHING that I said was a personal attack, it was the truth. I find it ironic that people who spewed "the truth" for years can now be offended by the real truth.

  It's not me that makes 'eventualities' come to pass. I have no control over that. I just tell it like I see it. And, truthfully we have no idea whether this will be a wake-up all for others or even him.

  Time will tell
