  well, i been "living in sin" for about 5 days now and aside from an elder asking if i was gonna still do a talk i was scheduled for this past monday (i told him no of course.

  he knows i moved out and only asked about my literature) i finally worked the nerve to download the application for this season's america's next top model.

  i've been modeling for some time now and i figured what the hell...i have nothing to lose but $3.95 in postage.

  Out of Bethel and still recovering

  hello to all im new to the site i have been looking for about two weeks now .i was at brooklyn bethel from 1994 -1999 and i worked in the barber shop office blgd.

  (25 columbia heights ) .i just wanted to say hi and that many of your post have really been helpful to me as i have gone though some tough times on all levels .

  PO said automation and declining contributions reason for Bethel layoffs

  last week at the meeting, the po, who has very close connections to bethel, said that he never thought he would see the day that bethelites were being sent home.

  he said that the biggest two reasons he thought bethel were cutting back, was automation and a massive decline in contributions.

  looks like you're right metatron about the contribution aspect being their achilles heel.

  Of course, as another poster alluded to, if they really thought Armageddon was any day now, they would sell off their property to care for those who have given so much in "Jehovah's Service."

  so thing's are going well in dubland and the call comes down that my bookstudy is to be moved to a different congo.

  instead of a 30 minute ride to the hall we will be forming a new congo and use the hall only five minutes from my home.. great because gas has just gone to $3.00 per gallon right?.

  we meet the new po and he breaks the real news.

  In all sincerity, when we were young people we would always go and visit the older ones. There was one young chick who always asked questions that were not her business....like the time she asked Ed Halstead what kind of operation he was having. (Ed was the UBM of an older sister, he hadda be like 75 and he was a hard working farmer, not the hospital type).

  He told her he had something wrong with his penis. If I had a nut, I would have busted it laughing.

  woke up this morning to find that someone had broken into my house while i slept.

  all that is missing is my billfold (didn't have much money, but replacing the cards will stink) and my cell phone (with a couple hundred numbers).

  i wonder why they didn't take my laptop and camera?

  That happened to me 7 years ago, big difference I was not home and my neighbors sons literally took everything except for the sofa and beds which they must have been in too big of a hurry to get.....

  I was pissed!!!!!

  I went out the door with my baseball bat and went to their house "politely knocking" on the door. The man who is now my husband dragged me back by physically lifting me and carrying me home (think cave woman style) but not before I swung a couple o times. LOL.

  I had insurance, but like you are finding it is just a DAMN BIG inconvenience!!!!!! Sorry about that.

  OFG those dogs look ready to die for you.

  WTS is NOT involved when JWs go in service. That is why the WTS must immediately be involved if there is a auto collision... because they are NOT involved. In fact, that is how incredibly NOT involved they are! They are sssssssooooo NOT involved, they get involved first!

  so nice......I love it.

  I don't blame them about not wanting the brothers to be mistaken for 'other elements.'

  I have heard a rumor that there is a new motorcycle gang, The Kleen Kut Krew. These boys are known for their conservative haircuts, lack of facial hair, and the tassel shoes, which combination quickly identify them as a member of The Krew. They can rip your town to shreds by appearing to be clean cut. Then when they dismount, they roll up their Brooks Brothers suit sleeves to reveal their tatts.

  Almost immediately after the tattoo is exposed, they are known to utter such foul mouth language as "Millions now living will never die" and "The end is any day now."

  Be careful that you do not let this crew invade your town. All heaven will break loose. Keep your women anc children safe.

  i havent posted that much these past few months, i still read the topics daily, but i guess i dont have the desire for the daily chit chat like i used to.

  i dont have regular computer access, just my webtv, so i still have to go to the mall to post whenever the urge hits.

  i havent done any picketing in almost a year now, but i might do something special this weekend at the dayton ohio convention.

  JW Dad kills family and commits suicide

  i was talking to a friend about this website and he asked me if i remember a story about a jw family, murder/ suicide, i remember hearing a story about a jw dad killing his wife and his kids, i believe the news said that he stabbed and shot them, and that he may have killed them because his wife was about to divorce him.

  it happend in ca and i think it was sometime around 1992-1993, i heard a little about it on the news back then but nothing more after that.

  if you know about this story or something like it please post.
