Accidentally Leaving a Flash Drive in the KH Parking Lot
by RayPublisher ini've been playing around with this strategy for awhile.
how could i crack the defenses and get a jw to read crisis of conscience, captive to a concept, etc., or just some reasoning points in general on blood, 1914, the history of the wt organization?
i want to help my brothers and sisters, i am still inside for a while longer and feel like i need to do something more tangible.. so i was thinking that if a flash drive was "accidentally" left on the ground in the parking lot.

Just have some of the cheap signs made for garage sales made up the e-mail sites they need to see & put them up Sat. night across from the parking lot. Even better, get the homeowner's permission to leave them up during the CO's visit.

The Gentile Times Reconsidered
by Spade indisproving the date 1914 as a significant year in bible prophecy is of great importance to some (e.g.
carl o. jonsson).
along with the meticulous details of bible and secular chronology, broadening one's horizons when assessing exactly what this date represents when compared against the 6000 years of human history likewise has merit.

The best support of 1914 not being the end of a historical time period is not in the past, it's in the future. It is the WT contention that after 1914, JC chose his congregation, Satan was confined to the earth "having great anger" and a great warning would be given. This particular generation would not pass away until all these things occurred. Evidence is abundant in print of the many & continuous lies, half truths & hypocrisy of the GB. Certainly JC would never approve this organization. Satan is supposed to have been on the earth for a century, yet civilization continues much the same. ( Maybe he needs a AARP membership). So much for great anger. Best of all, the preaching work. JC was very specific about the signs to watch for, yet the GB would have you believe he muddled the meaning of a generation. The warning would only serve those in imminent danger. Any longer and the warning has no meaning to those who would die before let alone 5 generations worth of mankind. Sorry Watchtower. Whether you believe the past, present or future, they have absolutely no evidence. Crying wolf for a century makes you untrustworthy as to when the wolf would actually show up.

In for 50 years. Father-in -law of the anointed. Personally knew Rutherford. Al Schroeder was a family friend. I was an elder for 10 yrs. Gave district assembly parts. Numerous committee meetings. Holy Spirit? None. This organization does not have now nor ever had Jehovah's Holy Spirit. Don't believe it? Look for evidence throughout it's history. Find anything but man directing himself? You don't need Holy Spirit to be almost right. A little bit of knowlege is a dangerous thing.

If God exists.... which church does he attend?
by cyberjesus inso we lost our religion and its time for us to decide which religion to switch, i was sincere so i wanted to do his will as i was taught.... so many here still believe in god and christianity.
so my question for you is.
what makes you think that christianity is the true religion?

Therein lies the problem for those who leave the society. If not the JWs' then who has the true religion? After leaving, I looked. I thought I must have missed it. I finally came to the conclusion that since 1914 is not the end of anything, we most likely are still in that time period marked as the "times of the Gentiles". That period was to be marked by Jehovah's absence from the affairs of man. Anyway, thats my take on things. What do you think?

Cast Away(Tom Hanks) and resurection
by frigginconfused inin cast away with tom hanks he gets stranded on a deserted island after a plane crash.
he is gone 4 years so his wife thinks hes dead and remarries and has a kid.. he gets rescued and comes back to find his wife is remarried.. sounds very similar to getting ressurected and finding your wife has a whole new familly.. but the ressurected will be as angels not marrying or having children.
i still dont get this.

It was always Jehovah's purpose for the earth to be filled with humankind. Jesus in his rebuke to the Pharisees was talking of those who were to be resurrected to heaven. To instill in man the desire to procreate only to deny it in a Paradise is totally illogical & is not scriptural. You can bet on marriage & sex.

I saw in a WT a few months ago where it was stated that " the end could come at any time". What happened to the timeline that was published ad nauseum about the rise of the UN & the destruction of "Babylon the Great"? Did that happen already? Did I miss a "new" understanding?

Daisies & a ring. I wish the first wife stuck up her hand like that. Would have saved me 34 yrs. of misery. I could have robbed a bank & a liquor store & been out of prison already... with the money & liquor.

So I asked my female coworker what she was doing this weekend............
by miseryloveselders inbut her reply made me so very envious.
you know my mother always would tell me, "wordly people aren't really happy.
" as a kid that always bugged me because i figured if people are laughing, smiling, and generally having a good time, they must be happy.

Witnesses Firearms and Murder
by Marvin Shilmer inwitnesses firearms and murder .
a bit of overlooked history is how under rutherford witnesses felt free to arm themselves with lethal force.
i have prepared a new short article detailing a bit of this history that, for many, is a bit surprising.

Not for nothing, but wasn't Peter already armed with a personal weapon when defending Jesus? Jesus told him to put it away not throw it away. I'm already applying for my pistol permit. In NY, its shoot first & ask questions later.
