Hi CoCo; Been out for 4 yrs. now. Rarely think of what's going on at the Borg nor do I really care. But I know how you feel. I left lifelong friends. Good people I miss from time to time. People that would show up to give you a hand after I politely turned them down. Friends I golfed with just for their companionship. (I really stink at golf.) The Sunday- after- meeting lunches with my mother & friends. I know someday everything will be right again. In the meantime, if you can continue to pull off the balancing act; Live Well.... Sorry, this organization does not now nor ever had Holy Spirit. If you're in, get out now. Oh, I forgot. My background. Was a Witness for 50 years. Father-in-law of the anointed. Actually knew Rutherford. Was an MS, Elder, Pioneer. Routinely gave DC parts. Served on RBC. I know this organization very well. It's not the Truth.

Do you think the British are a proud nation?
by not bitter ini think we are to a degree but i think its on a different level to the americans.
the impression i get (from watching us tv and news) is that the majority of americans come across as being proud to be american and quite a possitive nation.
whereas us brits will display pride as a nation when we have to.

Hello Paul; You have my sympathy as well. I also debated not going to my mother's memorial talk. She was well known & loved by many. I did go & had two sisters I come up & talk to me. The rest acted as if I was invisible. True to form the talk included the line "many will have the opportunity of never dying". Funny how ironic that sounds at a funeral. I have always had comfort in Paul's words of the resurrection to include the righteous & unrighteous. Unless you piss off the holy spirit, you get a free pass. So hang in there. Go with your head held high. Look them straight in the eye. Each & every one of them owes you & me & everyone else on this thread an apology.

At the age of 48 I just graduated with my BA degree from college and I am on top of the world
by booker-t ini thought i would never get my college degree from a university in this century at the age of 48 but i did it and graduated with an "a-" average.
i did this all the while working a full time job and going to school full time.
it can be done and now i love school to death.

I am trying to figure out my future if I should go to college or just keep working a regular job...............................
by andys ini am faced with a dilema right now and need some advice on what i should do with my future, i realize that eventually i'll grow old and will need to somehow work my way up so i have something to fall back on, like someone told me once i don't really have a support structure to fall back on, if something happened where i could not work i would probably wind up homeless, moving back in with my parents house would be out of the question because i would never go back to the borg.. this is my situation right now, everything is going good, i love my job, i am single no kids, i work at a hosptal making $10/hour doing janitorial work, also my rent is very cheap about $350 a month for rent on a duplex, i live less then a mile from work, right now i have the most ideal situation to save alot of money even on $10/hr job, but also i realize that everything can go all at once, if i ever lost my job since i don't have no support structure and could not find work i would be sol.. now to some of the things i like doing, i like to drive, one of the things i have always wanted to do is learn truck driving, since i don't have no extra responsibilites, i am still having a hard time though making a decision, on one hand i like my current job, but on the other hand i realize that i do have to plan for the future, if anyone can give me some advice i am at a loss of what to do, also because of the way the econommy is here in the us right now sometimes i think its best to stick with the job that i have but still don't know whats best..

Hi andys; garyneal is right. You're going to spend a large portion of your life at work. If you can do something you love & support a family, it's the best of both worlds. Try to see yourself in 10 yrs, 20 yrs. Can you retire at this job? Lots of opportunities out there. Good Luck.

I find it much easier to discredit their entire "Gentile Times" prophesy by examining what was to happen at it's conclusion. 1. The confinement of Satan to the earth. Really? Not much different from the last 6,000 years of human history. Maybe he's tired or sleeping. 2. Destruction of all false religion. Seems to be doing just fine thank you. 3. Empowerment of the United Nations. Who? 4. World wide warning of impending doom within a generation. Could you explain that "generation" thing again? 4. Earthquakes in one place after another. All secular experts agree the frequency has not increased. So they can argue ancient history til they're blue in the face. When the above happens, call me.
