It's been 7 years since I realized TTATT. Had 50 years in the cult & of course, I experienced all of the above. But time does cure most (not all) of the separation symptoms. I've remarried a wonderful woman which took care of # 1& 2. As for # 3 & 4, it took several years but I realized it wasn't me that had a problem. Now I'll walk up to former members I meet, say hi & wait for a response. I get great satisfaction in " reverse witnessing". As they are not "friends or family" it doesn't bother me at to watch them squirm, mumble a response or skulk away. Now I have the truth & I wield it quite deftly. After all, I was taught well by them to do so. So for those who are just starting their journey out, keep your heads up, keep moving forward. It does get better. As I always say; Live Well...Enjoy Life !

Can GB be guilty of sinning against Holy Spirit
by Chook inthe crime is ,condoning the removal of and shunning of jw children ,who when older want to express freedom of religion and attend another church.
god created family unit ,gb destroys lives on all levels of family tree.
can this be the unforgivable sin?.

I think almost all religious leaders throughout history have sinned against the Holy Spirit. Millions of innocent people have died at the hands of these men who have encouraged war, torture and greed. They have made religion a spiritual wasteland. I certainly would include the GB in with the rest of these hypocrites.

Do not enjoy life now!
by life is to short inok so i was stupid and looked at the text for today, i do not know why i did it.
i lost a couple of brain cells and put myself into an even deeper depression over it.
it was just that my husband had it out and i thought what can it hurt, wondering what they are up to.

Although usually against book burning; I came across a box full of JW yearbooks in the barn attic. I keep other publications for research, but could find no reason to keep these. I'm waiting for a nice cool night when I can sit by a warm fire outdoors & torch these babies. You could leave your husband's copy " accidently" on the stove. Same effect.....

How Will Armageddon Begin?
by Cold Steel inand how long will it last?
and who will come after that, yahweh, as the old testament says or jesus, as the new testament says?
the scriptures say he'll come to the mount of olives, but surely that's a spiritual mount of olives.

According to WT; the following events precede Armageddon:
1. Rise of UN to a world power. ( Not looking like its going to happen tomorrow.)
2. King of the North & South struggle. ( No clue who they are.)
3. Nations of the world turn on religion. ( Again; not happening tomorrow.)
4. Keep in mind that during this last generation, Satan & his demons are wreaking havoc. ( Nothing new here except the usual man's inhumanity to man. Come on; you really think this is the best Satan can do? If I were a powerful demon realizing my destruction was imminent & being cast to earth I'd be really pissed.)

Caesar's birthday is fast approaching & his advisors are worried about what to do for the event. One finally comes up with a brilliant idea. " We'll throw him a birthday parade. We'll line the Appian Way with crucifixes with Christians on them. As he passes by, we'll light them on fire." "Excellent idea" they all agree. As Caesar leads his birthday parade, he notices one Christian on fire trying to speak. " Stop the procession & put that man out. I must hear his profound last words." So they extinguish the man out & put a ladder next to him. Caesar climbs & puts his ear the to the man's lips as he sings his last words .........HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU...... !
I know it's sick; but you're laughing too....

Upon learning that a Polish bishop had been chosen as Pope, a black bishop prays to God asking when a black man would be nominated. God replies " some day my son though probably not in my lifetime....."

I've owned bikes since I was 18. Bought a brand new 1973 Yamaha 650. Took her to Mexico & the west coast. Good dependable bike. I was the service manager at a Chevrolet - Olds Kawasaki dealer. We had an 1100 as a company bike. A great bike. Beat the piss out of a number of Hondas; just can't kill them. Have owned a number of Harley- Davidsons & currently ride a 2015 Road Glide. (License plate is MRQUIK) It has a display that you have to be an electrical engineer to figure out. Top speed on any bike was 142 MPH. Too old to do that crap any more....

So who's responsible for those doctrinal changes that have cost lives in the past? God? Did he change his mind? Would an organization actually led by loving kindness condone this? The obvious answer is men themselves are responsible. And as such, they show this cult for what it is; manmade, with no loving concern for its members. They fail miserably in identifying themselves as the " one true religion".
