It is a branch visit. So if you don't fall under the United States Branch, then you won't have the meeting. I'm assuming it might be US and Mexico.
It will be on Nov. 8, broadcast to all congregations capable of receiving it. If someone else has another date, then maybe they are rebroadcasting it that day to accommodate those who weren't able to see it on the 8th.

I hear ya. I've been missing a sense of community too. I found Sunday Assembly. I'm in Portland and our chapter started in March and is really doing great. It has the sense of community without any dogma or pressure. Check it out and see if there is one in your area. If not, you could start one.
I agree though that the unofficial shunning from people who were supposed to be your friends and love you is unnerving. At least until you get some distance and start to replace it. It is getting better and I've been away 5 years.

so it's been about 10 years since i have faded out and have stopped believing in the jw teachings.
since then, i have accepted jesus and have experienced an amazing tranformation in my life and have been freed from the jw prison mentally and spiritually.
a more detailed thread about my journey is here if you are interested.. anyways, my jw family lives in another state so they are unaware that i am no longer "in the truth" since i have not told them.
Rebel8 described exactly what I do. First, I don't bring it up. If they do, I say something like "There are some things that have really bothered my conscience. And I don't feel there is a place for me right now. I don't want to talk about it, because I don't want to be discouraging to you." So far, so good.

Don't do it. Being honest with people doesn't mean you have to tell them nor do they have the right to know everything about you. They know what kind of person you are by how you are when you are with them. Does it really matter that you don't believe any more? Will it be helpful or harmful to them and to you?
I think if you can resolve it with yourself that you do not need to share this detail of your life, things will be easier for you and for them.

here's my prediction; the gov body giving regular talks will come across as crazy ass idiots.
this will strengthen the opposition and give something to refer too that is concrete evidence of crazy town in the jw headquarters.
there will be screen captures and clips that will be used all the time on youtube accounts to show the ttatt.
Especially with the new donation arrangement (tithing), and now this, they are looking more and more like every other Christian religion.
so two big changes in the org were announced in the most recent agm.. local needs part is replaced by "how do you know the truth" where all members will tell their experience (oh what fun).
basic pioneer role 10 only hours a month required (see, jehovah lightens our load, therefore he loves only us)!.
it seems like they have really turned up the heat here.
The thing is, if someone is fading, it is not hard to fake service or even lie on the time report. And how hard will it be to lie if you need to on the 'How I Know It's the Truth?" - I think it depends on where you are in your fade. It might be more difficult, but I think lying is still easy enough to do.
How about they just get rid of holding people to tracking their numbers and just go by the quality of people they are able to attract and the number of people who attend and get baptized? I think people would be much more drawn in if they weren't beat down for not meeting some number and if they were allowed to measure their own spirituality by the quality of their lives instead of the number of doors they knock on.
and by the way, WHERE are they purchasing the merchandise? It seems so bizarre to me.
