I do. I share their values in the sense that I want them to suffer the same fate. I want ISIS members to suffer & die painfully for what they've done.

I enjoy watching videos of IS getting blown to bits. It makes me happy. And I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Vengeance doesn't belong to god, it belongs to anyone who wants it. After Paris last night, I want it.

Elder On Tablet During Prayer

during a prayer in the kh all our eyes are supposed to be closed, right?

i've never been one to fully my eyes during prayers.

i'll close them down, but just enough that i can still peep around at what's happening without being noticed.. there's something i've noticed a certain elder doing for the second time now.

Once you go up high enough in rank, you don't have to follow the petty rules as much anymore. Kinda like how elders always seem to turn in required amounts of service time but are only seen out once a month. Kinda like how elders get to leave their seat & walk around talking to others about "important big boy things" that could easily wait until after the program is over.

Let me tell ya--from experience: when an MS tries to pull off any of those things I just listed, including not bowing their head & closing their eyes during prayer, they get called out. Big time. Those items kept coming up in the B-room. "Hey, can we meet with you for a few minutes in the back?" Followed by 10 minutes of them telling me how I suck.

Die. All of them.

there is a certain elder in my wives hall that has seemed to developed a real interest her.

first he seemed to feel a need to make sure all her blood cards were signed before she gave birth to our child.. he sends her text messages if she misses a meeting saying how much " we missed you last night ".

he finally sent her a text wondering where her oct hours were , knowing she had some pretty serious tears from child birth and could hardly even walk, much less do field service ".

I was gonna emphasize the same point. Elders are strongly admonished to never approach sisters alone. You could extend that to text messaging. Hell--they do! According to them, simply texting members of the opposite sex is considered "dating" (this is even on the 'About Us' section on JW dot bOrg!).

Either this guy is an over zealous newbie who doesn't quite get the elder protocol yet, or he really is trying to chum up to her. It would be entirely different if he had his wife text your wife, but this isn't what's happening. I wonder what HIS wife thinks--or if she even knows.

If I were in your situation, I'd contact 2 other elders on the body and explain that A) he's not following procedure for elders, B) it makes you very uncomfortable and C) this guy is opening himself AND the congregation up to severe liability. Explain to them that you're not accusing anyone of having bad motives, but, there are a lot of jealous, insecure, over-protective hothead husbands & loopy "Potipher's Wives" out there (JW or not) who could easily misunderstand things & make a really nasty, publicized & embarrassing mess over something like this.

faithful and always so very discrete in many things but when it comes to the lord's money not so good.. i think as it begins to register in their minds as to what a terrible job they have done as ceos of a large corporation leading it into this condition that thoughts of suicide come from.

not to mention the shame at being a public spetical to the world by the rc.

all these things and more are creeping through their denial as they are forced to face reality.

Narcissists & sociopaths probably don't feel suicidal too often. They love themselves way too much. And why blame themselves for their mistakes when they can blame everyone else? They've demonstrated that a number of times already.

A narcissist/sociopath would harm or kill innocent bystanders waaayyyy before they'd attack themselves.

A lot of JW men shave their head now which surprises me. Some of them look awful. I'm surprised that ever got off the ground, but no one mentions it! I knew a guy who lost his privileges in the 90s for doing that (even tho there's never been anything in the wt literature about it). But now, go to any assembly or convention and shaved heads are everywhere--even on the platform, on attendants or other privileged positions. I wonder why that was never labeled as "faddish" or "too outlandish."

From my view, they're deep in the frustration stage. They have been since 2007 when all this shit started changing. I'm going off memory here, so my years may be off!

2007: early alert in wt study article; first time we heard the call to obey even if things don't make sense "from a human standpoint." They likened future WBTS/GB decisions to gods holy diversions in the Sainai wilderness (forget exact article, but late 07--100% positive)

2008: no more book studies.

2009: public/vs private wt editions. First hint that new anointeds are nuts.

2010: new generation appears in study article for first time. Not acknowledged again until 2011 convention. Creepy-as-hell creepy-ass songbook--all the classics were gutted. Infamous "...nor do we need to know" comment regarding the number of anointed remnant. "Brazen conduct" appears in regular publications (but was only in secret shepherd manual until then).

2011: Sparlock! JW dot org rebranding officially goes into swing. Infamous "mentally diseased" article takes off. "Overlap" officially mentioned at convention.

2012: Menlo Park scandal (a prelude to the property grab). Candice Conti trial begins. Pioneer requirement reductions. Magazines become much skinnier. TERMINOLOGY CHANGE: District convention = "regional." Presiding overseer = COBE., etc

2013: sell-offs in Brooklyn go from rumor to confirmed. Conti verdict & appeal. More anti-apostate rhetoric from convention talk. DOs demoted. GB consolidates power = to faithful slave. New bible. "Brazen conduct" replaces "loose conduct" in revised NWT.

2014: tight pants revisited. More sell-offs. Int'l conventions ignore 100 yr anniversary of 1914. JW broadcasting launched & immediately backfires due to open criticism from general public. Conti appeal and GB no-show. Crackdown on education/punish elders if family member goes to school is leaked. Assemblies reduced to 1 day. New songbook to replace back cover penis pic. Street carts. "Happy" video.

2015: Conti settlement, leaks and leaks and more leaks! More property cuts. New songs constantly added via website only. Shift to release in eFormat rather than paper, KH funds & property takeover, skinny mags announced to go bi-monthly and TMS school axed. Immediate bethel & sp layoffs, royal commission, money begging on video, Lett pedo denial on video, Morris blames pedos on gays on video. "Return" brochure rallies families to snag faded relatives. Memorial partaking continues to soar as exiting climbs.

Frustrating indeed! The Nightmare Phase will be interesting because I believe even the GB themselves won't be able to cope.
