Right. So god's way of dealing with the guilty (satan) is to punish the innocent (us. hell--and jesus too!) -

[No one has said anything about "amoebas," so the straw man won't work with us]
Where, in scripture, does it say that "god is all knowing in those things he wants to be all knowing in?" Where are you getting this? The WBTS says almost the same thing: "god CAN see the future, but sometimes he chooses not to." No citation, no source, no scholarship to back that up; it's a bald assertion and a case of special pleading. In other words, it's a transparently lame tactic used by unarmed apologists to dodge the question and move the goalpost.
my POINT in asking you this is not to lead you down a trap. I want an explanation--one that's falsifiable, demonstrable, repeatable and unambiguous--as to WHY god doesn't answer MY call.
i HAVE been sincere & "earnestly seeking" my entire life and never received a response--much less any proof. If god has the capacity for omnipotence, omnibenevolence an omniscience, then he KNOWS exactly what proof I need to falsify my doubts. Yet he doesn't give me that evidence. Why?

Hold Me:
do you believe god is all-knowing, all-powerful and all-loving?

Lol!!!
"if you do not know the way out, i cannot tell you"
that is the most absurd apologetic I've ever seen and I've seen almost everything.
1) if Cofty already knew the way out, why WOULD you tell her?
2) apparently, god cannot tell either.
It's 2015 and long about time we all grow up and ditch the belief in fairytales.

The Confederate Flag
by Simon inthe latest controversy over the confederate flag just sums up to me the state of dysfunction that exists in american society.. in summary: a white supremacist nutter shoots 9 black people dead in a church.
he's clearly inspired by the messages of others which the confederate flag is often a symbol of.. it seems like a no-brainer to remove it.
not only isn't it removed, it isn't even lowered at all as a mark of respect.. and of course now there are the people who want to defend their right to have it.

Imagine the uproar if the LGBT community wanted their flag on the SC capitol for only 1 week after SCOTUS (inevitably) decides in favor of equal marriage rights. We all know exactly what the rhetoric would be and who would be saying it.
most notably, has anyone seen mike roscoe p. coltrane huckabee's reaction to all of this? Disgusting. And he's gunning for president.

I don't see how the stars & bars aren't also treasonist. That flag has always irked me. I've even heard JWs defend it as a symbol of "Dixie pride" and "southern love."
The best was how Fox News spun this whole shooting. Rather than admit his racist motivations behind the killings, they decided to run with the "it's a war on christians" bullshit. Ridiculous.
im all for 1st amendment freedom, but to fly this flag at full mast on STATE CAPITOL property really sends a vile message.

Does This Mean JWs No Longer Point the Finger at Child Sexual Abuse in Other Religions?
by steve2 inthose who still attend meetings will be better placed to answer this question.
since the conti case - but likely some years before it became more widely known in ex-jw circles and beyond - there appear to have been no watchtower or awake news snippets on child sex abuse in the churches of christendom.
also, do rank and file still talk to householders about the churches of christendom's cover-ups of such abuse?.

Lol!
anyone remember one of their stupid campaign tracts in the early 2000s had a picture of a catholic priest? It was also a scathing message against catholics specifically. I'd love to see JWs try that now

What is their position on IVF?
by voodoo lady infor example, if a married couple had fertility issues relating to the male partner's sperm, could they use a donor?.
is it frowned upon in a more general sense because people should be preaching rather than procreating?.
-
DarioKehl
The sin of masturbation must occur before IVF is even possible. So, husband donor or not, the answer is "no."
should that come as a surprise from The Church of 'No?'

No no No No NO! Jehovah's Witnesses are NOT COOL NOW!
by TerryWalstrom inthey obviously know it.. in the last few years, a more modern, hip, and cool image for their brand has been foisted on the public at large.. jw.org.
(sidebar: a group of us witnesses, when i was a teen, were sternly lectured by a circuit servant about how wrong it was to refer to ourselves as jw's.want to know why?
he said, "reducing jehovah's name to mere letters of an alphabet is blasphemy!

I remember being called out by an old mouthy pretentious pigfuck twat in my service group that "we aren't supposed to use 'JW,' it's disrespectful." Many of the more old-timer judgemental cunty people felt that way until Big Brother changed history to say that it's "always BEEN acceptable--how dare you say otherwise?"
