theres a great exjw subreddit too where you may find others closer to your age (I assume you're a teenager if you're still homeschooling). They have several google hangouts or meet up in games on ps4 or XBox.

my only strong advice is to be very careful reaching out to anyone online when you're a minor and in such a vulnerable state--including this forum or anywhere else. Don't give real info about yourself, location or any other details that could identify you. Not only do you need to stay off the JW radar, but no place on the internet is immune from having people with other bad motives. Just sayin!

and oh yeah: always always always remember to erase your browsing history, sign off and/or log off from any device after you visit an exjw forum, ok? Phone, iPad, laptop--all it takes is one time to forget, grab a snack in the next room and have someone in your family discover your apostasy. It's a big mess and I've seen it happen to kids on here before.

I personally haven't enjoyed it. The paranoia is overwhelming & I always get very powerful "self-realization" highs that mimic & trigger my regular anxiety/panic issues.

When I get high, my mind goes to a very destructive place and I realize how much of a f**k up I must be to everyone who knows me. It's brutal and it's also the truth.

if there are issues in your life, things you hide in the closet, eccentricities, self doubts, fears of what others think, things you're ashamed, embarrassed or worried about, this stuff really forces you to stare them in the face. You realize where you're at. It's a brutally honest self-assessment and I personally have a little PTSD from some of these confirmations and revelations.

I dont use weed recreationally (because for me, it's rarely enjoyable). But, it's also forced me to make changes so that others' perception of me improves. That part has been very beneficial, but goddam, sometimes the truth is disturbing.

i also relapse into JW mode when high--as if my self from 20 yrs ago walks into the room & judges me with a JW gauge. I "feel bad" for my current heathen life. My mom's voice plays in my mind, "look at you! what have you become? drugs now? really?"

just a warning. Not everyone is the same with it. Most people I know absolutely love it and just get stupid intoxicated. My mind, however, ruminates and it's a pretty unnerving ordeal.

guilt & blame, guilt & blame; America = bad, terrorists = bad (but hey, we may deserve it), and finally, Americans should be able to defend themselves, but not in a deadly way. Hide in place! That seems to work splendidly. Let our mentally stable police forces handle it.

I watched that DISC/NatGeo/Animal Planet program about extinction the other night & I gotta tell ya, none of this matters anyway. Talk about guilt trip--a much deserved one! The Anthropocene Extinction is underway right now due to our collective greed, jealousy, xenophobia, exploitation and outright raping of our entire planet. Good job, human race. Good job. We deserve what's coming IMHO, not from terrorists or politicians, but from Mother Nature. Her response will ultimately solve the problem (us) & bring this planet back into balance.

$400 million isn't much for a global institution. You'd be surprised how quickly it can go (or be used to play catch up after bad investments).

I worked in an R&D company whose annual budget was $250 million. That's a for-profit company, tho--I get that. But it was one hallway in one building at one of many locations and $250M wasn't even a big deal.

the bOrg is a non-profit 501c3. This financial windfall is a one-shot deal. Once they collect, they're never going to bring in an amount like this again.

I think they're in serious trouble and a few hundred million $$$s aren't going to do a goddam thing for the mess they're in.
