Is this an anti-JW website?

when i registered here over 4 years ago i thought it would be a good place to interact with like-minded christians who loved jehovah as much as i do.

but after reading some of the posts on here i'm beginning to believe that the sentiment on here is largely anti-witness.

i justed wanted to tell you all what vile and hateful people you are..

i strongly disagree with all the above posts.

this is an Jehovah's Witness information site. just because a few bad apples posts some anti-jdub(whoops) material doesn't mean you have to lump us all into that bunch.

many outstanding outspoken heartfelt jdubs(dang) come here to post frequently, offering thier opinions and society backed information for us to enjoy and respond to, which we do in our own ways.eggnogg,manny,maze,misery, are a few outspoken jdubs(slipped sorry) you can ask questions to and they will try to assist you as best as the spirit directs them to.

but to say we are all anti-jdub(okay i think he's doing it on purpose) would be a blanket statement that many of us don't deserve.

in fact, many posters here are quite up to date on current teaching to help you out, like the sodomite resurrection hope debate, the newest almost blood you can take, and clear things up for you regarding 607 b.c.e.

keep reading the posts and i'm sure you'll understand everything completely.

What really ended the book study in private homes?

it's been over 3 years since the book study in private homes was discontinued and some jws are still scratching their heads over it.

although a letter was read to all congregations explaining that "book study night" would now be "family worship night", there was still much speculation among jws as to the real reason behind this decision (the great tribulation was about to start, jehovah was simplifying the lives of jws, to lessen the burden of poor jws who had no money for gas, etc.)...

but as we all know, decisions like these from the gb invariably have some ulterior motive behind it... and discussion boards such as this one usually finds a way to dig up the truth for all to see... but after reading several threads on this subject, i'm really not sure we've uncovered all the facts yet.... so i have to ask... what do you believe really ended the book study in private homes?

during my "revisit" to the jws, i attended a bookstudy with a few older folks. one claimed she was once a school teacher. she then told me there were no meat eating dinosaurs. i respectfully didn't argue the fact of the pointed teeth etc, for she was sure of herself and at 80 years old, wow! get with the data lady. and you were a teacher?

anyways, bookstudy was so AWKWARD! remember tight living rooms where it was set up that everyone faced the center so you kept making eye contact with everyone. or the low heat basements / high heat apartments study houses. or the dogs or the telephone or the doorbell.

the bookstudy was entertainment.

and if you liked to you could answer lots.

and you could where a sweater instead of a suit jacket.

remember filing in late and excusing yourself if it was the prayer when you walked in.

and if you were a kid, sometimes the conductor would have kids and you could play in the bedrooms after.

good times, but man i hated going.

any one ever seen the documentary called Who Killed the Electric Car?

we refuse to do something about the problem. because the problem is giving the unethical humans lots of money. and they are okay with that.

the ability for humans to live properly on this planet has always been available to us.

it is just unprofitable. and unpopularized by the unethical humans.

do the meetings do anything? or is the pipeline going ahead regardless of public opinion like always?

i bet it get's built and i bet they already are building it.

i was last affiliated with a minneapolis area congregation a few years back.

we saw prince and the larry graham entourage at a sunday meeting once and at many assemblies and conventions.

i know he was affiliated with a congregation in a city named chanhassen at one time.

when i was like 12 the song 7 came out and i was a good little jw boy and i heard the lyrics and told my mom he was talking about what we believed in.

she was not impressed that i was listening to prince. period. didn't matter what he had to say.

then years later, he's a jw. and his music is acceptable music.

so i bet he wrote this song as he was studying with whoever it was, or he might have been reading the revelation climax book to himself....

i think he helped write some of the new horrible kingdumb melodees. they did say they used professional musicians....

it's ridiculous to see that humans are still spending money on old oil technology that will become obsolete eventually.

new energy technology would create more jobs and potentially save the world for the future humans living on the planet earth.

stupid inefficient humans.

on this forum, i have carefully read most of the experiences of those who left the jw religion, i have even read experiences that have dated back to 2001, i have read the different circumstances surrounding their exits and what ensued upon leaving.

for the majority, i observed they are better remainning in the religion than leaving.

what benefit is there to strain family relationship because you want to be free?, please tell me, of what value is that freedom?,.

did anyone mention that JW's are blasphemers?(don't believe in hell, micheal = jesus, etc.)

and false prophets.

and we should all know the resting place of the blasphemers and false prophets. eternal death.

so IN WISDOM i have left the JW blasphemus organization.

if you decide to stay, you know where you will end up.

jesus said whoever leaves family for his name sake, his reward will be great in heaven.

do you want to make men happy or god happy?

Is homosexuality ever justifiable? I say YES!!!

in the january 2012 awake, pages 28-29 there is another article about homosexuality.. .

the writers argue that genetics, the environment, and sexual abuse do not justify homosexuality.

the bible clearly states that homosexuality is wrong and is an abhorrent sin.

i can justify heterosex by saying reproduction. everyother reason is primal instinct.

if a hetero needs to get off, he can masterbate. he can die a virgin and still lead a good life.

if a homo needs to get off, he can masterbate. he can die a virgin and still lead a good life.

if a lebsian needs to get off, she can masterbate. she can die a virgin and still lead a good life.

i don't believe all heteros have had sex to survive. some have died virgins.

are you saying homosexuals need to have sex with men to survive?

or just to be happy?

i'm not hating or judging, just asking a logical question.

anything outside of earths atmosphere is considered "alien to earth".

so any life beyond earth, no matter what form is "alien" to us.

so that puts spirits and martians in the same group.

nothing changes. it has always been this way.

angels = aliens. just a new name for an old concept.
