  Going under the knife tomorrow morning :S

  i'm not a big fan of surgery.

  i always exhaust all non-surgical options before doing it.

  i know enough about medicine to know that surgery is effectively a controlled injury... and that makes me nervous.

  I'm Graduating tonight.....

  well actually tomorrow!

  i've finally finished and will now have my master's degree in nursing!!!

  i feel like i've been in school for my entire life, but it was well worth it!.

  So does that make you a NP? If you are what speciality are you? My daugher is also in grad school for nursing. She is going to be a Family NP. I do believe she plans on getting her PhD in Nursing also. It is a new degree..not alot of schools here in the East offer it.

  Congrats on all your hard work. I look at my daughter's books and know how hard you worked to finish. You should be so proud of yourself. You are awesome.

  My Pioneer mother wants me (DFed) to fix her computer... HA!!!

  when i call my mother she says she can't talk to me because i am dfed.. i asked her to help me and my pregnant wife move and she said "i don't think i can do that"... whos not allowing her to do it?.

  she always calls me if her car or her computer breaks.. she called me today because her computer broke.

  so.... i turned the tables on her.

  I do not believe that most people that have been in the JW religion will walk out of it unscathed, unless you were never really in it to begin with, or were in the religion with no family members. When you lose your family, friends, and even your identity the result will be somekind of trauma.

  For those that can say, "Just get over it" have not experienced the true nature of the harm of a cult. I am glad for them if they really have no residual affects of this religion, but I guess my question to them is then "Why are you here???" You need to move on with your life, since the JW religion is no longer affecting you. JMO

  I really am sorry that you and your young wife have been treated so unkindly.

  I guess the question is now...if you return are you willing to treat your child as your MIL is treating her child???? That is what you are required to do if you want to be an accepted JW. Think about it......what kind of father do you want to be. That is your answer for if you really want to be a JW.

  Just know that we are here for you both.

  I walked off the job today....

  can't explain this one.. right in the middle of my shift i became disassociative.. my brain locked and i threw my hands up and kept repeating, "i can't do this!

  i can't take this!

  right out the front door of the bookstore.. i wasn't angry.

  Just wanted to add that you have accomplished alot in this life...you have a great and loving relationship with your kids. The most important thing that we can achieve today, is to produce healthy functioning adults. Looks like you have suceeded with your children.

  Now that you have accomplished that, it is time for you to think of Terry. What makes you happy? What do you want to do with the remainder of your life? Who are you? I am glad that you are willing to do and speak to someone about these very issues. Be open minded, and you will be surprised what you will learn about yourself, and your needs.

  I think as we get older memories do two things...they sustain our love for those that we were blessed in knowing, and they are also painful reminders of love that we experienced. I guess with either emotion at least we know that we are alive.
