if you did not still have some kind of umbilical connection to jehovah's witnesses, you would not have to keep posting here.. i hope you all appreciate my opinion of you, as well as of simon.
there's lots of the world to be experienced out of this freaking site.
Umbilical? as in receiving nourishment? not from the wts.
I kinda look on it as the VFW, veterans of foreign wars. They still meet and keep in touch but they sure wouldn't want to be back in the war. They show family and friends war scars and medals, and share war stories over and over again.
It's an experience we all went through, like high school maybe, only worse, [if that's possible] but we keep in touch and go to reunions. It's a part of our lives but it's not our life.

Thanks for scanning this.
#2 "confidential information released at Kingdom Ministry Schools"??????
#6 weren't we supposed to ask for donations? just because it's offered on the internet doesn't mean a donation shouldn't be requested
It's another cult tactic of information control, no doubt about that.
Couldn't help reading over the presentations to the right. Heads up householders, your response is not important [Allow for response.] they're going to continue anyway.

ps when what's-his-name died at a convention [in Hawaii?] I learned about it first on the internet and called my brother [elder & PO] about it -- his smug reply was that he already knew and made me feel like there was something wrong with my knowing about it or telling about it -- why hadn't he told me? I thought we were 'one big happy family' -- he hadn't even told his own wife. What was the big secret???

my review:.
i would give this film 8 out of 10...i would have given it 9 if nicolas cage had done a better job on his italian accent...and penelope cruz isn't one of my favs...but she portrayed her character well i thought...i didn't like the love scene...hair under a woman's armpits makes me shudder...each to their own i guess.. it wasn't what i expected...so i enjoyed the element of surprise.
maybe i should read the back cover before hiring movies...but this time i just went with the main hunk character nicolas cage.
Saw Captain Corelli's Mandolin in the theater, bought the dvd.
Penelope had to grow the pits for more authenticity. I hardly noticed.
Loved everything about it, cried, sang, cheered, cringed...
Everyone was great, especially her father. Cage's accent may have been off but his singing and acting was terrific and I'm a fan of Christian Bale too...tush and all...!!!!!
