Prelude to a disfellowshipping

i was 25 years a congregation member; ten years an elder; all told, up to 18 years an appointed man; a decade or so as a full-time minister; assembly speaker, with the pinnacle giving the public discourse at a district convention.. .

i stopped being an active member of the congregation in november 2010, but it had been brewing for several years, with the customary gradual drifting away - all the necessary mental gymnastics as my spiritual views changed and doubts set in; quitting the theocratic ministry school; ceasing to answer; sitting quietly off to the side.

i think the straw that broke the camels back was when family worship inevitably became family worship.

perhaps this has already been addressed, i looked ... i thought you might want to know, not much time left ..... harold camping .... some time after being released from a nursing home in june after suffering a stroke, camping, released an audio message on family radio's website saying, "we would have not been able to be used [by god] to bring about the tremendous event that occurred on may 21 of this year, which probably [will] be finished out on oct. 21 that's coming very shortly.

because everytime i go to bed, for me its the END of the DAY, i really dont not need any prophecy or calculations to know that

hi blondie i really like most of your posts, and the i've come accross your post regarding fading, when you post a very nice link written many years ago.

well my request is, can you or someone compile these good posts in these forum, because i have read so many good posts here but somehow they are lost because they are burried with newer post.

maybe someone could do a blog like site featuring all the good post, copying the good post only, and putting the link at the end so readers can go for more reading/comments, i know doing this requires a lot of time and organizing.

it appears but then suddenly disappears and this comes out "Read from www.google.com" maybe just my browser, or is it an error here on jw.net
