i went to the meetings this week because we have the co's visit.

i have not been in about five months.

oh my god some of the stuff you just cannot make this stuff up.. ok so like many of us i feel that there have been things done that are wrong in the "truth".

The legal writing of that time was done in either Aramaic or Greek. (Not "Hebrew" and not Latin)

that phrase is on this site a lot....and although i have been judged a bit by my old friends......i also do not think i can have friends without conditions......like if i had a friend.....and found out he was beating or abusing his wife.....esp if she was also a friend....that would be a "condition" where he would no longer be my friend....so what does it mean...what about you?....oompa.

Ok have you ever been asked this question in regards to Isaiah 43:10 ?

how could god have always existed since it plainly says near the end of that verse before me there was no god formed?.

here is the quote from the nwt and i also looked it up on numerous other translations and they all used the word before.. .

isaiah 43:10. you are my witnesses, is the utterance of jehovah, even my servant whom i have chosen, in order that you may.

From the AB (or Setuigent), the verse reads:

"Be My witnesses, and I too am a witness, says the Lord God, and My servant whom I have chosen; that you may know, and believe, and understand that I am He; before Me there was no other God, and after Me there shall be none."

The word "formed" is not inserted.

i ran across a blurb in wiki that stated that the book of revelation was long regarded as unauthentic and was not accepted until 1200 a.d.. has anyone explored this?.

John I believe is the John related to Jesus (ie. Jesus and James literal brother). Since we are speaking about Jews and Jewish society, we should realize that since forever the sons were sent to school to learn to read and write. They are big on basic education.

They may have been fisherman, carpenters, and what not but they were not illiterate.
