  Whatever happened to "YOU'RE WELCOME"? Has "NO PROBLEM" replaced it?

  wherever i go, i say "thank you" to clerks, servers, delivery people, hosts and hostesses and the response has become invariable: "no problem!".

  have i aged to the point i'm now an old fuddy duddy who doesn't "get it"?.

  is it counted mannerly to avoid, "you're welcome" in favor of "no problem"?.

  Younger people say things differently than oldz. Case in point: "the authorities". Under 60 simply say, "the police".

  the city had been seriously weakened during the holy fourth crusade (1202-04), when fellow christians of the catholic brand had besieged the city, captured it, and savagely sacked it.. ( who needs enemies when you have christian friends?).

  What's the point of it anyway? You aren't doing anything in "remembrance". Who goes to a meal where you're not allowed to eat? Better still, it's ignorant to invite people to a meal when you know you aren't going to feed them.

  It's exclusionary. Jesus sacrificed himself only for a small few, according to JW thought, and not for the whole world. But Jesus isn't mentioned much, so ....

  did any of us ever find real joy in being at the meetings?

  did any of us ever finish a meeting and think "i feel so enriched"?

  Nope. They were solemn and boring. The WT study was particularly excruciatingly boring. Everyone has already read the article, just ask the dayum questions, don't bore us all to death reading it allowed.

  Sometimes, I did enjoy the 2nd school where we would put candy corns in our teeth to make the 'student' laugh. The best part of the school were the sisters. That's the only time you heard a general conversation. (Takes far more work than a Bible reading)

  Lol!!! I think Abraham and progeny would take exception to that silliness. Those idiots won't be in charge of anything. No 3rd parties required.

  Besides, if resurrected ones are neither male nor female, like the angels, how's that going to work? Angels or the like don't take direction from imperfect humans. You would think people there would be sick and tired of others interference ... that's no paradise.

  IF I wasn't "saved" because of your blood and sacrifice to get into paradise, you can piss off.

  hello all i am fairly new to this site even though i have been da since i was 16 years old i am now 35 years old.

  i have had very little contact with my family since i left maybe a handful of times over the years.

  i thought i put the past behind me and moved on i have 4 amazing kids of my own really supportive partner and great friends who have become my family.
