  Please Help Headisspinning With Her iPhone!

  hey guys.... i'm still here and following every day but it's all on my iphone so i can't comment or message or post replies and i'm going crazy!.

  little baby boy - darling that he is - pulls my hair, yanks on my shorts, scratches and bites my skin or wails whenever i try to go online... once he's up on my lap.. .well, watch out keyboard!.

  (oh how i long to bring him to the kingdom hall - lol!).

  The J Dub Culture of Skirt-Wearing

  this is something that has always bothered me.

  as a born-in jw i was raised as a little girl wearing skirts and dresses which is clearly quite normal in terms of gender-appropriate clothing.

  however, the older i grew, the more i realised that all jw women and girls wore skirts to meetings and when out in fs, but would wear trousers in their everyday life.

  personally I love to see women in anything they like or nothing if they like the female form is beautiful. Tall, short, thck or skinny. but I'm a single guy right now fill in the blanks. Thank you women I love you all.

  i just wanted your thoughts on this situation.

  there was a young boy from my former congregatioin,he was about 5 years younger than me.. and his parents were overly strict with him.

  but,i think the combination of being witnesses plus being raised the old-fashioned,southern way themselves was a bad combo for their son.. anyway,he got a lot of beatings at the meetings.

  I am doing the same thing wth my whacked out dad and stepmom. But hopefully he comes a step further and leaves the cult. Hey my son gets scared if i raise my voice a little the last thjing he needs is my dad gritting his teeth and yelling thru them I honestly don't know how he did it but he did, and clinching his fist pounding them thru walls breaking stuff throwing it at you. Or asking you if your man enough to fight him yet.lifting me off the ground by my throat, shaking me, punching kicking enough to hurt and terrorize but not enough to leave marks. At 9 I had a crush on my stepsister's bff who happened to be a jdub too. We were in the same class I forgot my math book she lent me hers and when he found out he beat me with it in front of her of course oit mostly hit my back cause I was crouched over. So how much confidence do you think I had during my life?

  How the WT is able to sell the JW religion

  it's a two-step process, when you think of it.. the first step is to distort certain bible passages, in particular the one pertaining to the 'faithful slave', in order to convince members, and potential converts, that there is only one true religion, one organization that god is using.. once this has been accomplished, they move on to phase two: convincing members and potential converts that they are that 'faithful slave' that god is using.

  they accomplish this by process of elimination, by exposing the false teachings, or what they perceive as such, of all other religions.

  in other words, every other religion is wrong, therefore, theirs must be right.. it is not by the merits of their own religion, or the words and actions of their leaders that jws are convinced they have the truth.

  I agree thus the saying or actually misquote jdubs use; "where else would we go". And I was thinking a similar thought recently but I think you said it better.

  when things in their doctrine are wrong or have been its a total disconnect to them. But everyone elses mistakes are evil or the worst thing meanwhile kids die for no blood , kids get malested, kids grow up having the least opportunities to make a descent living etc., and social ineptness.

  where did the stuff come from that "banged", as in the big bang ?

  no thank you. Religion , atheism its all the same. Its all circular which came 1st the matter (ie. atoms, molecules, ions, protons,etc.) or the means of distributing it.I agree science has proven alot but the rest is no better then the bible. I choose to be a realist and a survivor. I will use what i know as fact to make the best decision I can to take care of me and mine. and help those I can along the way. I ain't perfect.( I like that line from moon struck "I ain't no monument of justice"). The other thing not explained to me good enough by" atheism" is love and conscienceness. I realize you all have a right to an opinion. But if you want me to understand you no more smart ass crap please. Like :read a book or your asking a sideways question. Or simply don't respond I honestly don't care I'm a parent I'm used to talking to myself. I mean I may not look at any responces till tomorrow anyways I got a busy life and I am finally strong enough from leaving our common foe to not need to be on here every free second. peace out
