Haven't you got anything better to do?
by tedcobb inobviously a lot of you are no longer jws, for whatever reason, but surely you can find something better to do with your time.
you seem to spend a lot of your spare time slating the society or picking holes in your former beliefs.. if you've left and think what jws believe is a load of rubbish, thtat fine, you cn do what you want, but why you have to go on about it?
if being a jw means so little to you, why not just leave it behind and get on with your life?

by redline ini just happened on this place a few days ago, and thought i would stop in to see what it was all about.
it claims to be a jehovah's witness forum, which it is not.. dont want to come here and point fingers, as i am sure there are some good people in here, just seems the bad have followed the good.
i guess in reality thats always the case, but hey, what else would these people do if they couldn't wage their little war on the truth.

We are all brothers and sisters as we are all decendents of Adam and Eve. Therefor it is not decieving to have a chat room set up for *brothers and sisters*.
Do yourself a favor and do as the Bible instructs."Make sure of all thing*. The best way for one of Jehovahs Witnesses to do so. Would be to read all the older publications of the Watchtower society.
You will be amazed at what you learn about your religion. -

i just thought i would give you this card on this very important day to let you know my feelings about your decesion.. first of all i want you to know that i am very,very, proud that you have made a choice in your life to be a person of good clean moral standards and a person that has a regard for there creator and one that wants to be respected and looked up to.
that makes dad very proud.. you are probally wondering why i no longer go to meetings with the family and no longer speak of spiritual things.

for those who "grew up in the borg"

having been raised all my life in the "borg" i have known nothing else.
when questions began forming years ago, it started me thinking.

Thanks for the welcome Zazu. I am only new to this forum. I had posted at H20 a while back under a different name. I kinda lost interest with the direction it took. To much bad mouthing going on there.
I do not post often as I don't feel I have much to offer.IWasn't a Jw for to many years. I come here more for learning than anything. After all. if not for forums like this, I may still be in the clutches of the Borg, and for this I thank all of you. Especaily the jw's, because seeing how they act here and on other forums made me see that "The Truth" was not the truth at all.Always treat your enemies with kindness.
