  Verses 4-6 warns to God's people to get out of her.

  She glorified herself and lives in shameless luxury - yes, she sits as a queen, mistakenly thinks she will never be a widow, and she will never see mourning.

  Logical, I believe this to be talking about all religions. Look at the history of religions. More people have been murdered, molested, guilt ridden in the name of Religion.

  I tend to think that faith should be a personal thing between God and Man. Most people when I talk to them about this, tell me "well, you have to go to Church to congragate". Not so, for the Bible even tells us that "any three gathered in my name, there I will be". Whenever we gather with friends, or family, or even stranges in the Name of Jesus, we are not forsaking the gatherings.

  If we put our faith in man to teach us, rather than the Holy Spirit, we are bound to be mislead.

  Just my thoughts.

  Katie,

  If you do decide to become a couple, and you worry about the children issue. There is always adoption. There are so many children out there that need the love of even one parent, if not two. There is also artificial insemination(Did I spell that correctly?) This way the child will have the blood of at least one of you.

  There are so many options for you and your (issue) LOL

  Try not to worry. Just take it slow and see what happens before you let yourself worry about children. You are still young and have plenty of time.

  perhaps you recall the instance in the bible where samson made a wager with the philistines that they couldnt guess his riddle.

  as it turned out they wheedled the answer out of him by his fiancee, but the point is that they had a wager.

  since the underlying assumption of the apostasy is that we are not living in the last days of this system of things, and that this world is not facing anything remotely like the biblical apocalypse, at least not any time soon, in the spirit of such antagonism, i would like to propose a similar wager.

  Believe me, I know. I have three stray dogs that I can't get rid of because I feel sorry for them and end up feeding them.

  Our American Flag

  doesn't it feel good to not be a jw at this point in history?

  through the fear of the last few days, i do have comfort from scripture about my eternal salvation through jesus (as a witness you never felt secure with god--don't miss a meeting or field service for long or you're out), but also because my husband and i can display our american flag on our cars and in front of our house to support our country!.

  as americans, we will not stand for terrorism and i'm proud to be in this country.

  Put it this way. I know someone who didn't even have enough money to pay her bills this month. Let alone help the victoms as she would like to have. She did however donate all the money she had on her to help out. Small as it was, I know it is appreciated.

  Did not Jesus relate the story of the good Samaritan? We should do good to ALL, not just those who happen to be of our faith. As was stated above considering how much the WTBTS has, they could do far more than they did.

  Brits: 90% Say Go In With Yanks.

  i thought you folk in the states might like to know how things stand this side of the pond.. sky news interactive showed that 90% of those polled thought that the uk should join with the us military in attacks on countries harbouring terrorists.. the the entrance to the us embassy in london is stacked high with flowers and tributes, the fdr statue in particular has also been similarly honoured.. flags all around the country are at half-mast.. the queen ordered that the daily changing of the guard ceremony at buckingham palace should feature the usa national anthem, this has never happened before at such a nationalistic event.. the famous last night of the proms at the albert hall and hyde park has been restructured to honour the american dead.. it is know that several hundred brits were in the trade centre at the time of the attack.. i just wanted you people to know that your country is by no means on its own in this crisis.

  ok, so i am 17 almost 18. i used to have a boyfriend.

  we were gonna get married this coming december, but stuff happened and we aren't now.

  i had sex with him before marriage, and the bible firmly states to deaden your body memebers, which apparently we did not.

  Please give her sound advise and please, for the ones who like to bash people who are not in total aggrement with the ORg, please ignor her post as she does not need any negitive responses now. She has tried to kill herself three times already and I for one do not wish her to try again.
