  I got my new TV today

  it's a 42" plasma.

  So, jwbloodline, how long have you been studying with the JW's? One thing you should think about that I wish I had before I started studying with thm. When a religion claims that anything pertaining to religion that is not written by their religion, is not sutible for study. That in itself should let people know they have something to hide.

  How ironic that sounds with the name like Jehovah's withness discussion forums...

  not really, We discuss things having to do with Jehovahs Witnesses and this is a discussion board. What is so ironic about that? Besides, if you want to get technical, this forum was created while the owner was still a JW. therefore the name.

  i sent a pm to one of the forum assistants telling him this, and he said i should post and let everyone know how it went.. i didn't want to do this until mario posted first, because it's about his daughter, not mine.

  but, i know all you wonderful people out there are waiting for some news on the memorial service, and i think mario is too grief stricken to be able to write right now.

  sometimes these things hit you harder after it's all over, because now you have more time to think about it.

  Thanks for posting this Hubert. You can add one more who broke down. When you mentioned about the others, especially Talias sister breaking down, the tears started rolling. It's just all so sad. If there is a Heaven, they have a beautiful little angel with them now.

  I wish I could have been there to offer my support in person, but living where I do made it impossible. I was there in spirit though.

  do you believe the bible is the word of god?

  i ask because i believe it's important for searching jws who come here to not only learn if there are christians here but also to hear from them personally what their thoughts on the bible are.

  i believe the bible is the word of god, do other chriatians here also believe that?.

  I grew up on Opera music. My mother was in training to become an Opera singer but she ended up with husband and a daughter on the way instead. She has a beautiful voice.

  i knew the family - were told that the fall was an accident - i am not sure of that, i know he was depressed.

  Hi Jeff, There used to be a poster here a while back who wrote about this story here on the forum. She no longer post here though and I am drawing a blank as to her screen name here but I will look for the post.

  Edited to add: If FrannieBannie reads this, maybe she can help with the screen name of said poster. All I can remember is her old AOL screen name of Ladyluvsnyt if that will help Frannie recall.

  My Fascination With Nicely Shaped Jugs

  this is a part of my collection.. the all-blue jug and the "pinch pot" below were made in a local pottery in the 1920's and are known as wesuma ware.

  (weston super mare).

  the others are all doulton lambeth ware from the late 1800's, well before the company came to be called royal doulton.
